Cleveland: Filling in Euclid Avenue
These buildings are barely more expensive than my apartment building in Lakewood, which sold last year! It has 50 units and sold for around $1 million. Of course, it wasn't totally jacked up, either.

Cleveland: Crime & Safety Discussion
Sort of frightening, really. Other cities have clubs and people don't get shot up. Frankly, Cleveland can't afford to let the WHD turn into the Wild West.

Rex Humbard's Cuyahoga Falls tower
I grew up in Cuyahoga Falls. It used to have a restaurant in it. It looks like a giant smoke-stack to me. It was sort of a navigational tool when you were around town. You can see it from Cleveland??

Cleveland: Filling in Euclid Avenue
Uhh, why would they give money for the Halle Building?

Cleveland: Crime & Safety Discussion
Holy moly! This ain't good: Four people are dead after a night of gunfire in Cleveland. Three more are near death in local hospitals, police said. Nearly a dozen others are recovering from gunshot wounds. Cleveland firefighter Terrance Hough Jr., 35, is in jail, accused of shooting a neighbor and two visitors dead and injuring five others in a barrage of gunfire at 4375 Sky Lane Drive a little after midnight. Hough lives at 4381 Sky Lane Drive. ... (Updates 7:48 a.m. version) http://blog.cleveland.com/plaindealer/2007/07/shootings_slashing_make_for_bl.html

Used bikes in Cleveland?
The Ohio City Bike Co-Op offers used bikes you can purchase, I believe. Or you could get a beater at a thrift store and then take it to the co-op and get them to teach you how to fix it.

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
I forgove you, KJP! Anywho, it's nice to see that station is functioning! That's going to be great when you're going to the airport or it's late or snowy. I hated getting dumped off on the other side of the street and trying to catch a train or circulator. I approve!

Pittsburgh's Golden Triangle: Dusk & Dawn
They should do those lighting schemes all year long. Love that stuff.

Cleveland: TV / Film Industry News
Wow, NYC really seems amped on scaring business away. And Cleveland gets ranked poorly for being pro-business! 'Round here, they'll give you free buildings, special red-light districts and even take away others' property for you!

Cleveland: Cuyahoga County Gov't properties disposition (non-Ameritrust)
The new building better not be hideous, that's all I've got to say.

Cleveland: Cuyahoga County Gov't properties disposition (non-Ameritrust)
Why did they pay $22 million for this building, then? The market rate seems closer to $10, although I'm no expert -- just judging by what other buildings are selling for.

Cleveland: Downtown: East 4th Street Developments
<url>http://blackfinndallas.com/gallery/images/06.08.07/Index.php</url> Man, according to their Web site, it's babe-city... edit: There are dentists all over downtown. Now, I'm not sure about regular doctors and specialists like dermatologists, etc.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
"In New York City we manage 7 West 34th Street, which is the New York Gift Mart, and the" Funny, I interned in that building when it was the world capital of fashion publishing!

Maybe this http://www.cleveland.com/business/wide/index.ssf?/business/wide/med_mart1_0627.html? That would have been done by the PD's graphics people.

Well, I'm probably good for 14 and a half...I'm still not sure one's mine.

Cleveland: Cleveland State University: Development and News
Wait, where is there a Border's in Lakewood? Do you mean Westlake? Lakewood, as far as I know, doesn't have a bookstore....

Buckeye Building (and relocating to Cleveland)
I'd be curious to hear dentist suggestions, as well. In terms of grocery, have you been to Dave's? There's one over in Ohio City near the West Side Market. That might be the ticket.

Strip District proposed in flats???
Yeah, what does that mean, btw.

Cleveland: Intramural Soccer Leagues
Yeah, I tried ClevelandPlays.com. It seems to work better if you have enough people for a team, though, haha

Lakewood
Cleveland's roads are nowhere near as bad as Michigan's. Not even close. And I was on Dee-Troyt Road last night, and it doesn't look done to me. Half the road wasn't finished. They probably need to do another layer of blacktop.

Cleveland: Cuyahoga County Gov't properties disposition (non-Ameritrust)
Well, that certainly sounds corrupt.

Cleveland: Intramural Soccer Leagues
This is a long shot, but does anyone play on any sports teams around here? I want to get on a soccer team this summer!
