Cleveland Browns Discussion
Can anyone explain to me why an unproven rookie like Brady Quinn can come in and negotiate like he's Peyton Manning? Even LeBron got rookie pay for the first couple years!

Cleveland: Random Development and News
A decade ago, David Goldberg and his family bought the old Atrium Office Plaza with visions of a new hotel or condo development rising between Playhouse Square and Public Square. Never able to attract a big tenant for the project, Goldberg officially has put the old and totally vacant complex, located at 668 Euclid Ave., back on the market... What the hell happened to this thing?! http://blog.cleveland.com/business/atrium.bmp

Cleveland: Cuyahoga County Gov't properties disposition (non-Ameritrust)
It sort of has a retro, vintage look to it. It reminds me of the movie "Down with Love." Yeah, I watched it!

Cleveland: Detroit-Superior Lofts
It's not the most attractive looking thing, but at least it's got that cafe space on the ground level, which is cool...

coventry merchants regain street's cred via american apparel
I changed my mind, I don't think Coventry has declined. It's not like that was ever an area with a bunch of big-time shops, I don't think. I wasn't around during the heyday, but it has a reputation of being Cleveland's counter-culture center. Today it reminds me a little of the shops around Harvard Square. It's just not that extreme anymore. In terms of retail/entertainment, what are you looking for? Besides clothes, I get nearly everything in the city: Best record stores: Bent Crayon on Detroit and W.117 in Cleveland; Music Saves in Collinwood. Book store: The new store in Tremont has a great selection; the place on W. 25 in Ohio City is great if you want to root around. It's no Strands though ;(. Rock club: (I don't do dance clubs) - House of Blues, downtown; Grog Shop, Cleveland Heights/Coventry; Beachland Ballroom, Collinwood.

Cleveland: Cleveland State University: Development and News
I'm so confused. I guess I'll walk over there in five weeks and see whatever it is, lol. It'd be dope if it were a bookstore, though.

coventry merchants regain street's cred via american apparel
I'll eat crow, that Marc's in Coventry is nice! I got home from work at 5:30, at super fast and was extremely bored. So I drove to Lakewood's East Side sister city (I made that up, royalties can come in c/o of Jamiec Inc.) and purchased a book and walked around. Lovely night! Coventry may not be where we start the revolution, but it's far from dead!

Strip District proposed in flats???
I see peabody's frustration. The city is enormous, and they want to stick the the "adult district" -- just giving it a name like that gives it a legitimacy that most any other city would have avoided at all costs -- near a growing residential neighborhood in a city that already has a hard time keeping up it's nice middle-class suburbs. I'm probably biased, though. I feel like seedy businesses like strip clubs should be forced to open where ever the city tells them they can.

Westlake: Crocker Park
^ That happened to me too, once. But I had to pay anyway. BTW, the Crocker Park H&M is the only one with the full collection of menswear. And now we're relevant again! Claps all 'round.

Westlake: Crocker Park
Well, I never said the stuff was made well, ;) It just allows me to continue attempting to look hip in my post-collegiate, mid-20s hipster age. I can't get away with wearing oddball stuff from the thrift store anymore, lol

Westlake: Crocker Park
WELL I'm sorry I can't afford a $100 tie from some master tailor in Italy! AND I'M NOT A GIRL! At least I'm not buying clothes at Wal-Mart like some guys.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
I've seen 70% of the Cavs games on TV since LeBron came here, and this series has been a gigantic letdown. I can't even watch. They are getting humiliated out there! I thought they'd at least be able to compete with the Spurs. Tony Parker is good, but he looks like Zorro out there, weaving all over the place. It makes me think I could do it! Frankly, I think LeBron's ability to go elsewhere and still be "the star" depends on him producing here. This is the stage where legends are made: A city long desperate for a champion finds a hometown superstar who finally brings it home. If he never produces here, there's no feel-good movie. Lil' Bow Wow won't get an Oscar for his role as Boobie Gibson. And LeBron won't be worth the $1 billion he wants. But, in short, get some players who can make a basket!

Strip District proposed in flats???
Why would they put strip clubs in such a desirable area? I'd relocate all that stuff near some of the warehouses on E. 18th or something.
