Cincinnati: West Chester - Ikea Coming to Union Centre
Agreed,it is too bad they build them in the suburbs but I have total interest in driving 25 miles to shop at IKEA.

Awesome. I really like the cropping and head-on angle of this.

I'd love to see the site map for that project once they get working on it.

Forecasting Future Dayton Decline
I find these sort of topics very interesting. I'm amazed how relatively well the east side of Dayton is doing currently (certainly not great though). Also, it would seem South Park might be a good investment area—home prices that are rising with a fair amount of foreclosure (time to find a steal!). Plus there are a lot of other factors going on in South Park right now. Why is the Oregon District in the $80,000–120,000 range? Shouldn't that be much higher? Also, why is the vacancy rate so high?

I'm a 1983 man myself and it's always nice to have another person brought up in Dtown on here!

Cleveland: Marketing the City
The video on their website was pretty decent. I liked the different shots of the Cleveland+ area. I'm not so sure the music was very inspirational though. I haven't read this whole thread but have these sort of marketing campaigns worked much in the past?

Urban Ohio "Picture Of The Day"
Just kinda like the feel of this.

Random Abandoned OH pics
Wow, this is pretty ridiculous. I'm having trouble comprehending these pictures...I'm speechless... These are the baddest pictures I've ever seen! So what's your technique for such dramatic shots? Maybe you can just give me one sentence to propell my photo skills to your level. That's all it would take, right?

Riverside: National Museum of the USAF
I'm having trouble remembering it clearly but I seem to recall driving by and seeing some construction...

Cincinnati: Bars / Nightlife News
Aqua might not be your thing then. I could be wrong but I do think it's mostly Asian seafood of sorts. Their website wasn't working when I tried to check it (www.aquacincy.com) but here's what the Enquirer had to say: "Menu: Sushi plus Asian-European dishes like Kobe beef carpaccio with enoki mushrooms or sesame walleye with plums, leeks, tofu and lemongrass ginger broth. The menu changes frequently." Even if you're not into having dinner you could go with your friends for drinks later in the evening.

CLEVELAND - Time for a Sunday Drive!
Nice photos. A nice blue sky does so much. I love the park shots—people on bikes and rc sail boats in the water. I was riding my bike in Devou Park Saturday here in Covington and it was great to see so many people out enjoying the weather. A few questions: Is Terminal Tower always under repair? And did you get this ring from Tiffany's?

Cincinnati: Bars / Nightlife News
It doesn't make a good atmosphere for deep conversation but I'd recommend checking it out. I went on a Wednesday at maybe 9:30ish. They have x amount (can't remember) off on sushi and martinis too.

Cincinnati: Bars / Nightlife News
Anyone been to Aqua on a night when they have a dj? It's not quite like the above clubs (dancing and girls trying to look like 3rd rate models) but it's a cool scene for sure.

Cincinnati: New Photos of Ohio's Best Skyline + Fountain Sqaure Floral Display
Wow, there were a lot of awesome pics there! Nice fsquare shots. I think I like this best: Maybe I'm way off but did you use the unsharp mask in Photoshop on this at all?

Cincinnati: Two New Panoramas of Skyline
Cool. PB Stadium looks weird from that angle.

What Are You Riding
I've been dying to get a Vespa. Well, any scooter would really do as long as it still had the classic old school scooter look.

Chicago: The Spire
FLW was too awesome. That building looks just as modern today as it did then. What? You're saying a mile is too tall?

Chicago: The Spire
Not sure if I'm in love with the look yet but there's something very compelling about any tall building.

What Are You Riding
Yeah, Rob's dead on with his answer on bike size. I'm 5'11" or just a touch more and ride a 56 cm but having someone at a local bike store help you with that is the best way to go.

What Are You Riding
Yeah, I broke it. Part of rear gear stuff broke. Sorry, not a technical term there—I'm too new at biking to know everything's proper name. But I got the new bike at the Trek store up in West Chester. I was actually able to pick it up yesterday. I took it on a nice hilly ride for about an hour. That kicked my butt.

Ohio: Fortune 500 Companies Updates & Discussion
You can thank Mead for leaving... Yeah, I'd like to jack Mead right in the face for leaving. A skyline is so much more prominent with the name of a well-known company glowing in neon at the top of a building. Very interesting about the 5 F500 companies previously being located in Dayton. I feel like I've heard that somewhere too. Anyone out there know what they were?
