Columbus: Clintonville Developments and News
GCrites replied to Summit Street's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & Construction^The infamous Chuck E. Cheese operating as Pasqually's during lockdown phenomenon. Of course that was still in their own facilities though. People were like "When did we get a new pizza place in town?"

Columbus: Clintonville Developments and News
GCrites replied to Summit Street's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionGood explanation. I didn't really think about them being "incubators" as much.

Columbus: Clintonville Developments and News
GCrites replied to Summit Street's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionEven before the virus, Universal Couchlock was hurting good urbanism pretty severely. Ghost kitchens are a symptom of Couchlock even if not all the food is going to delivery.

Columbus: Short North Developments and News
GCrites replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionThere is also the Urban Ohio Career Networking Thread where you can get clicks from all over the state in case someone is looking to relocate. I would say UO might be a good place to look for applicants considering I interviewed for a very similar position years ago with another well-known Ohio developer due to a posting in that thread. I also would be applying for the position myself had I not made other commitments for the coming one-year period (even though I am a little more mid-career nowadays than the description states).

All Aboard Ohio
I feel ya KJP, there's only so much frustration one can take in their work life. Getting beaten down by the extremely well-funded automobile lobby in this state (who I suspect is spending much more than people think and has more influence than perceived as well) since there are so many auto plants and suppliers can wear you out long term. I'm not sure if Honda does much with this, but Ford, Jeep, GM, Firestone, ZF and countless smaller suppliers have a long, extensive history here and the NADA (the auto dealer association) is currently headed up by one of the owners of Ricart Ford. Even the State Highway Patrol -- who is one of the most, if not the most, powerful lobbies in the state -- has interests counter to rail in order to maintain their relevance.

Hocking County / Hocking Hills State Park: Developments and News
WV is hungrier for those bux than Ohio. Also they have the private sector on their side a little more since they have a lot of tourism property located on private land owned by the coal companies and railroads such as the Hatfield McCoy trail system.

Ohio Census / Population Trends & Lists
Wonder how that works. Columbus has the big population numbers but Cleveland and Cincinnati are roughly the same size. Is it due to the number of staff in place in each city to assist them?

Lancaster: Developments and News
Greasy spoon is still there as far as I can tell. Once they did the Carroll Bypass (which still runs through the middle of town) a few years back the tall single-plane barriers made it hard to see it.

Linden suffers from a lack of amenities currently which is why it is indeed a part of the Uncool Crescent.

You could put a magnet that says COTA over the RTA logo on that bus and nobody would know the difference at that time. Maybe they traded when one city or the other was short-handed and did exactly that.
