2021 Tokyo Olympics
I think the Asian countries have more experience with maintaining athletic training during virus events in the modern era whereas Europe just stopped everything and got behind in that time.

Smells of the City
Inland Products... was that the rendering plant at Jackson Pike and Frank Rd? Can't even tell it was there now since they moved Jackson Pike on top of the property last year. It staaank but not for 20 miles around like the paper mill.

Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings
They included Children's Hospital which is debatable as to whether it should be included in the Columbus skyline since it is quite a ways from the next closest tall buildings and the buildings are really not that tall as you can see on the far right in the "South" pic. If you added the OSU Hospital-East tower and the grain silos it would be even wilder.

The traffic engineers aren't going to like that. It puts Hocking Street closer to the off-ramp, takes away the slip ramp for Hocking (which is on the left, something they don't like) and its car storage capacity then adds a signal to both directions of Spring which currently has it in only one direction.

Columbus: German Village / Schumacher Place Developments and News
GCrites replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionOn the news they were talking about how the Pizzuti rep "claims" that the new development would result in less traffic than the Giant Eagle. It's pretty easy to prove that a supermarket leads to way more trips than residential. Isn't the rule of thumb something like 2 trips per person per day? Assuming 2.5 persons per unit times 262 times 2 trips that is 1310 trips per day. That's nothing to a supermarket. Couldn't even stay open considering in is one trip and out is another. Just the employees are 300 trips.
