  1. I can't unsee the 8-ball in the KY 8 signs
  2. True, if the smell of wet dog permeates in a 20 foot radius outside the house no algo is going to recognize that ever.
  3. That's not saying much, unless the Zestimate algo has gotten a lot better recently.

Stuff like that wasn't nearly as well documented back then. It relied on the actual people that saw it and the word of mouth that they spread. Whereas everything that happens now spreads through the internet and gets parked on the internet forever. Like 2 drunk guys 25 years from now will be like "Who's that baseball announcer that called people "F--s"? Then they do a Taco Bell Search (it's not called Google anymore) and Brenneman pops up immediately.
  5. I remember being at the UO meetup last summer and seeing the old Park Street Cantina plus the spaces next to it being completely torn out and none of us knew what was going on when we walked past! It was a lot of Cincinnati users and new people (at the time) though.

Like people who say the N-word when other people would say "f---" or "s---", like when they stub their toe or drop something. Things that have nothing to do with Black people.

Yeah the minute I heard that part I was like "Oh that'll fix it" ?
  8. ^People really want STUFF right now. STUFF is sold out a lot of places. Since we re-oriented our economy to taprooms and restaurants instead of stuff when you take away those things you find out that people want stuff again. It's a lot harder to bring back that stuff capacity/jobs than it is to add capacity/staff at bars and restaurants. Especially since a lot of stuff is made overseas. And companies are reluctant to do it anyway if they fear that a year from now it's all music festivals and escape rooms instead of stuff again.
  9. One of the first things the cops ask you when you are a victim of a crime is if you are feuding with anybody.
  10. The Chipotle building appears to be less than half done -- much like their food
  11. "I can connect to Zoom using dial-up, right? Did you know houses are only $25,000 in McDowell County, West Virginia? I'll just hop on I-81 to I-78 to come in twice a month."

^We had one in Columbus in July of 2012. It wasn't as bad as the one in Iowa though. It was still a huge mess.
  13. So many trees on that part of Broadview that you live in a solar eclipse 7 months a year
  14. Are teens really going to go on Meals-On-Wheels?
  15. Drop a bunch of McDonald's applications on these people
  16. Small housing units plus lots of transplants equal lots of demand for storage units.
  17. Popeye cartoons were funded by Big Spinach and the Sandy Teeth Federation of America
  18. It really does become generational. Vegetables just don't taste good to people raised on food that's made to keep for long periods of time.
  19. Well, I think it's more obvious to people when they see low population density why there are no stores in the area.

Better not paint anything red; that's OSU's color
  21. Scouts aren't going to take much from any asterisk season seriously anyway.
  22. ^I remember that. You'd see a picture of one of your friends running a race in OTR and it would pop up that town.
