Definite pet peeve when the term "Southern Ohio" is used for the Cincinnati metro. So that means Portsmouth, Ironton and Pomeroy get lumped in together. No way. Even worse if they add Woodsfield and Marietta. Talk about an odyssey; you can almost get to Cleveland quicker

I'd say it's around $12-15/sqft. Something newer would be $16-24. Family Dollar might be paying less per sqft since it's a larger space.

Yes, the other luxury brands are down more than Tesla. The thing with the Y is that it is indeed $10K more than the 3, while just being a tall 3 so the profitability should be better. This month's Car & Driver has a Model Y review and it scored poorly on ride and handling. Without a transmission or changeable axle gears the only way to change gearing is to change the wheel and tire size (or add planetary gearsets to the hubs -- a no go due to weight, complexity, cost and friction). In order to keep the range from tanking as compared to the 3 due to a crossover's additional weight and drag area, Tesla made the wheels and tires taller which has a damaging effect on ride and handling while raising the "gearing". This leads us to who buys crossovers, who is Karen and Megan. They don't care about handling but ride is important. But Tesla has "marketed" to Kyle instead who is a completely different customer/stock purchaser than Karen and Megan. Tesla isn't on their radar but Karen loves blasting Nickelback and Jason Aldean her Chevrolet crossovers while Megan is in constant conflict between Honda, Subaru, Mazda, Toyota and other makes with Dad (Buzz) having input on the decision as well since he's funding the whole thing. If Y sales are to do what they are supposed to do, they gotta find a way to get those demos -- which could come at the expense of some Kyles, at least customer-wise but not stock-wise (the real customers).

You have to wonder how long the other automakers will pay protection money to Tesla before they build their own loss-leader electric cars, resume ordinary-size car production or throttle back the size of the trucks (not likely) in order to be able to stop funding a competitor. They might keep this arrangement too though.

In the case of InBev's flagship beers, they could actually be doing worse since at events you end up consuming them since you can't get your favorite "home" beer a lot of times. But InBev's craft and microbrews have good distribution in supermarkets and convenience stores so you don't have to go to the specialty beer store or taproom to get them. Same with Sam Adams.

It's from selling emissions credits to the Big 3 so that they don't have to build normal cars and instead can be niche manufacturers that only sell bigass trucks, SUVs and muscle cars in only one country. Without selling the emissions credits they would have lost $300 million in Q2. So the success of Tesla is dependent on Buzz the Overpaid Boomer buying Rams and F-150s that have a real-world 15MPG with no consequences. This is helping the environment enormously

I know there are various medias available for media blasting from sand to crushed walnut shells to dry ice but these days it seems like nobody does that and instead just paints brick grey regardless if it was painted before or made it 150 years before someone insisted on making it greyscale.

The E-B end had become troublesome almost immediately after the E-B closed. Sure, the Chik-fil-A did fine, but of course there is a lag after a major change at a mall due to lease contracts and stores hoping they could still make it work. I don't feel, though, that if we moved somewhere else in the mall that we would have been able to save things due to the prolific competition locally in our sector, the aforementioned downloads/online only games and toughest of all, the fact that people didn't sell us anything there except Original Xbox games -- which are turds if you know the business. I know for a fact that the T-Mobile has closed and that the watch/jewelry kiosk is supposed to be there through Xmas, but did Glitter, Brenda's and Treasure Trove also close or move upstairs? How about that craft collective in the old Rainbow? I assume CFA feels that they shouldn't sink a lot of money into the location since they have closed for a week two years in a row during retail's notoriously terrible 2nd week of November to fix water/sewage issue but did no other visible updates despite the interior being straight out of the late '90s. They probably suspect that they will move upstairs or to an outlot when it's time. I feel like if there were a critical mass of stores upstairs that it could come back to life. It might not be a bad idea for the mall to be eaten all the way from E-B to the H&M plus the parking at that end for apartments.

I hope the old houses turn out more appealing than that.

Hell no they won't, the Columbus media has a history of being immediately suspicious of anything involving Cincinnati politics -- in a way it's not with the rest of the state. I have no idea why the New York Times likes him so much though. He probably sucks up to them and they don't actually know very much about him.

There's a lot of names that have better reputations with Ohio Dems than Cranley.
