  1. Not only that -- possible fake motorcades. I used to work two blocks from the White House and fake motorcades drove by all the time in order to throw off would-be attackers.
  2. That '80s brown aluminum 1" square tube fencing look.

Vance is already in a precarious position with the Harley Guys due to his personality unlike Trump who prioritizes them. The Harley Guys want legal weed. So do the "incels".

A buddy of mine goes overseas a lot with the military and he's generally the only person in town who runs regularly.
  5. Clinton Township upzoned 10-12 years ago to encourage better urban design.

Our portion sizes used to be OK when people were filling up on pot roast and lima beans instead of Chips Ahoy.

You had to go outside. Inside was just soap operas during the day.

Neither did the fuel everything on E85 hype play out. Kasich raised farmland property taxes 40-60% in anticipation of ethanol money that never came.

Yes let's all die in our 50s like overworked people do. So that way a bunch of billionaires can get even richer. The fantasy of a tool.
  10. If everybody's poor it slows business activity significantly.
  11. If so many people weren't forced out of the trades because of 2008 there would be more capacity to build a wide variety of properties instead of just the most profitable McMansions and 12 stories.
  12. Cars are maybe 6 feet wide besides outrageous SUVs.
  13. As someone in ag the John Deere news is not surprising. People don't like their big tractors anymore for various reasons. Those are the ones made in the U.S. Their little stuff (especially the cheap mowers they sell at big-box stores) still sells. Most of those are imports.
  14. Remove all come-ons to mash the throttle and the numbers on the signs won't matter. There are places where speed limits have been lowered not because people asked but because routine traffic studies revealed the 80th percentile speed people were driving was below the speed limit because they felt unsafe going any faster.
  15. The problem is not SFH. It is the giant lots they get put on and lack of business activity in their neighborhoods.
  16. The Port-A-John companies always know at outdoor events.
  17. Design completed. Waiting on funding.
  18. Uncool Crescent Rise. When do we get to say Parsons has left the Uncool Crescent? More like the Cool Crescent is slowly moving south down it.
  19. "I love it when new users join a forum and immediately start mixing it up. Like, do you go into a bar and tell random women they're fat?" - buildingcincinnati
  20. Something needs to be done about traffic calming on High. I hate being expected to tear ass while trying to locate and patronize businesses. So the current situation is even bad for cars. Nobody in their right mind should be using High to get across town.
  21. How do they get away with it? Do they just hire lawyers or is it because this site isn't in the Downtown overlay?

Tech has been wanting to have people in India do everything for a while. Remember the education systems in other countries have kids take only a few classes a day once they reach high school age. While your kid is learning how the insides of animals work, reading Shakespeare and throwing balls around in gym class under the American system kids in other countries are coding all day. And that's before they go to college.

You know I always wondered why a town like Wintersville was getting so much action without thinking about WV and PA.
  24. "I don't get it. All I want is to live in the country but not have to work the country jobs. Then all these people move in and it's not the country anymore."
