    Marlboro in your face!

Men's basketball ticket sales at Ohio State have been on the decline in recent years. They are such whiners about people not going to church. Too much Republican influence on the economy created a nation of night and weekend work that made people unable to go. It's the Republican's own fault -- not weed's -- and they want to blame something else. It makes people stay home and smoke weed because their schedules are so bad that they can't participate in the rest of society including church.
  4. IT is actually a very big industry in D.C. because ALL web traffic goes through it.
  5. So is Columbus getting better at retaining natives then? Used to be people would want to go away to school but now they know they need the outstanding networking OSU provides.
  6. I saw an old TV news segment from 1985 when the first wave of skyscraper construction was finished Downtown and the news was like "All done! Everybody's getting laid off! What are we going to do now?" I'll tell you what you're going to do now -- build three times more skyscrapers in only 4 years!
  7. Eastern Ohio isn't cranking out the babies that bolt as soon as they turn 18 and can control where they live like the rest of Appalachian Ohio does.
  8. All that hair metal you hear down there nowadays instead of country probably made him want to harass thise women
  9. I can't see why someone would want it to fail other than it's "too close to Columbus" and should instead be in Adams County for some reason.
  10. super loads are often the reason for pulling out
  11. Even most of our drinking fountains don't work
  12. Today is going to be like a half day for it then.
  13. From the pictures it's on a strip of asphalt next to the Rickenbacker hotel. to clarify, the big one, not the funky Air Age motel I have always liked for some reason
  14. OMG, killer finds. I never even thought about the 70/77 at Cambridge being "big" and I remember first going through there in the early '80s. I'd love to have gone to an old baseball game where everyone else was holding up team pennants on sticks and I bust out the turnpike ones to freak everyone out.
  15. For that purpose I'd still prefer something Downtown. This will have more services than the current one though.
  16. This load did not spend the night on Old Bixby Road in Groveport. But there is a police trailer set up at the 317 and Bixby intersection. And the solar-powered Groveport Robocop is stationed at Old Bixby Road to watch for shenanigans.
  17. I guess our equivalent is driving our $90k pickup trucks to the Creation Museum

More emphasis on killer hits then though. The early 2000s video game cinematic highlight reels tell the tale. I recall Madden 2000's clips for PS1 were especially brutal.

Have you ever tried to watch a full NFL game from before like the late '80s? Ugggghhhhh it just hammers home how important good TV coverage is to American Football. But NFL Films always made it look bad ass.
  20. The name does sound like they're making Energon Cubes there or something
  21. No not that. At least they haven't announced anything. I have been worried about Perry State Forest for one but nothing official has been announced there.
  22. Out-of-town roadgeeks think it's weird that there are two full 670s but it had to do with 670 west of I-71 being 71 first so at least one route is superfluous. Most people here just take the phenomenon at face value without thinking about it. In fact, they might not even notice when they take the north route one day and the south the next.
  23. It is supposed to be some large private sector development. A lot of land changing hands apparently.
  24. I've just heard "major investment" in generalities.
