  1. I do appreciate SAF's efforts to sell it to us like we're all prospective tenants or something.
  2. They're only able to trick people who don't know how to use the internet properly. That's why they'll be gone in 10 years and why it doesn't matter how much success people like them had in the past. Talk to a car salesman about how the industry has changed in the past 15 year. Sales techniques hadn't changed for 400 years. Nowadays car salesmen can barely get away with any of that old-school stuff. People just walk.
  3. People like Cranley that just say things without trufax behind them will disappear within 10 years.
  4. Well I guess that's not so bad to lose height by lowering the commercial ceiling. Personally I am scared of heights and dealing with renovating the space we're in down at the mall and its 12-foot ceilings largely by myself was a daily struggle. I can't do wiring up in the ceiling myself; it's just too scary. I don't know what percentage of retailers have to deal with this but I can't afford to pay someone else every time a florescent light tube or ballast goes out. Thankfully my current employees don't share my phobia. I recently learned this fear would have locked me out of the building trades for sure by opening up a store in a tall ceiling space. I do think the setback increase demand was petty though.
  5. Is that an all-new building or a rehab of a structure from 1968?
  6. I thought this city was going to be way lamer. Wow.
  7. Maybe he's been updated by getting rid of the payphone in his leg.

I thought the climbing wall at Scioto Audubon was some kind of habitat for lions and tigers when I first saw it from I-70 years ago.
  9. Maybe they can bring back dime pitchers.
  10. Or it's another one of the zillions of restaurants that has trouble paying the bills on time because restaurant operations gobble cash.
  11. Yeah, Texans are like "Just let the kids have their train". Whereas in Ohio the right-wingers think a train will be like the Coors Light Train of Communism unleashing Marxism wherever it goes rather than snow.
  12. Don't forget the Dimension X Portal project.
  13. I don't think the powerboat races are going to be back.
  14. We actually haven't gotten that much rain in places this summer, at least in the past two months. The rain has come in spotty downpours. Any time it's spotty like that water levels in major tributaries will drop because they're not getting water from all over.
  15. People drive so slow on the 275 east loop. It's like they're mellow Cincinnatians instead of hurried Columbusites or something.
  16. Do you think they blew out some of the tunnels and upgraded the bridges because of double-stacking?
  17. Thanks '70s Big 10 Uncle.
  18. I can't really tell how high that is in relation to a bicyclist's head, but a couple years ago we had an incident up here where a sign was parallel to the road and split a guy open as he rode past. It happened in front of a bar and people initially thought he had been shot.
  19. You know whats really cool? Once you get into Groveport there, hang a left on Blacklick St., ride it 'til it ends in Blacklick Park then get on the trail that's in there. It's not paved last I checked, but you can ride almost to Canal Winchester on an abandoned Interurban grade. Or you can hang a right on Blacklick and follow the in-street tracks to another abandoned grade and take that to Hendron Rd.
  20. I think it isn't. Wasn't the focus a little more to the East also, say east of 4th?

You didn't notice that they added another belt loop that year? Savage.
  22. No way will he get much interest in the NFL right now despite how much he is held in high esteem in Columbus. Without a good final season after sitting out a year his stock is at about $0.07 a share.
  23. Every man must venture to morse rd. at times.
