We have to have a PO Box down at the farm because that crap was happening way too often. So that means Mom's got to drive five miles each way to the post office. Such a worthwhile use of time and resources.

The current Portsmouth bypass (Rosemount Rd.) requires people to slow to 25 mph for almost half a mile. And that's completely unacceptable.

Just because oil exists doesn't mean it's profitable to extract and refine at $108 a a barrel. There would be an unbelievable amount of oil available at $400 a barrel. But then there's little demand for it at that price level so nobody would go in and get it. Oil is not something that we can just go in and get with guns like we tried to in the Middle East. Companies that extract and refine it are NOT CHARITIES. They must turn a profit or they won't bother.

I can take those! Haven't had someone use one yet, though.

I bet that they'll do a lot of business renting rooms to people who want to party in the SN without winding up in jail.

They aren't even all that. I dont get all the hype. I didn't think they were, although I've never had one. People wait an hour in line for them! They are idiots. Social Media can make or break anything for these 20 somethings who, the majority, have no true brand loyalty. Heh heh, not like the 20-somethings from 30 years ago who would nearly murder each other over Chevrolet vs. Ford.

You also have to look at the macro situation of the city or region. Akron's not in terrible shape or anything, but it's status as one of Ohio's fairly stagnant mid-majors doesn't lend itself to comparisons to a similar development in a fast-growing city.
