Columbus: Huntington Park (Clippers ballpark)
^ That would be neat, but I think Columbus would be better off with low-rise infill simply because Downtown is so large.

Gas Prices
What is the global percentage drop in demand for energy in say, the last six months? I didn't expect there to be this much of a multiplier effect.

Off Topic
That reminds me of the time my buddy and I were going to buy a home PC gasket cutter system. It came with gasket material and you could get CD-ROMs with files for every car, truck, motorcycle, piece of heavy equipment and home power equipment ever made. We were going to get filthy rich.

Pet Peeves!
I work at a store. Granted, it is a locally-owned small business without corporate edicts coming down from headquarters in Atlanta, but a simple "How's it goin'?" is what I say. It makes people feel like actual people, not just a customer.

Pet Peeves!
Er, you might have missed this; what happened in the straight world is that men decided to stop doing those kinds of niceties when a lot of women started dressing sloppy/like guys, getting bad haircuts, gaining a bunch of weight and started with that "princess" BS.

The 80s
I love that song! I always thought that band was called Atlantic Starr, but I was wrong. Overproduced Freebird is just brilliant. I wish Elvis could have covered Freebird on the Old Grey Whistle Test drenched in reverb and with a huge eagle on the back of his tasseled leather jacket. Also with shots of falcons and '79 Trans Ams interspersed.

The 80s
Haha, there's a channel on rabbit ears in Germany that shows '80s action shows all day long (and topless phone sex commercials all night). Hunter, Knight Rider (of course), Hart to Hart, T.J. Hooker, Airwolf, The Fall Guy, Simon and Simon. All dubbed in German.

90's "The Blunder Years"
'80s Nickelodeon was the best, actually. It wasn't just USA propaganda. Most of the shows back then were from other countries and helped kids think for themselves.

90's "The Blunder Years"
Remember when that chemical tower off of 75 south near Mitchell had that huge Andre on the side?

90's "The Blunder Years"
Absolutely. 1996 is when everything mainstream went in the shitter. Mainstream rap before 1996 -- pretty good! After? F-ing terrible. Since then, we've had whiny nu-metal, whiny nu-rock (Nickelback, Seether et al.), whiny Nu-Country, whiny Emo and just whinyness overall. The only mainstream music that isn't a pathetic-athon is rap, but it has turned into rap's version of hair rock.

Ohio: GM, Ford, and Chrysler News & Info
A big reminder that it people weren't so obese today, healthcare coverage would be much cheaper and these companies would be in much better shape (and our economy as a whole).

The 80s
Okay, I did not see one women in your interesting ass eighties pic of the week and a half that had mall bangs. I don't know what it was, but my sister and all her friends would use a curling iron on their bangs and spray hairspray until their bangs stood five inches from their head and could cut you like a knife. Oooh, the "Puffball". I didn't think of that. That one lasted through the early '90s.

90's "The Blunder Years"
No. Granted, the '90s were the wealthiest time in the history of the US, but no.

90's "The Blunder Years"
The '90s didn't have nearly as strong a culture as most other decades (including today). But they never went away, either! Most things from the '90s are still quite popular. The '90s really were halfway between the '80s and the early 2000s.

The 80s
I used to have the #1 '80s site on Yahoo search back in the late '90s (there weren't that many back then). I haven't fooled with it in about 5 years, but here it is: http://www.geocities.com/gcrites80s/ The 5 main '80s pages ('80s TV, '80s Music etc.) are fun, but the rest are funner. Oh, and if I come across as a punk, remember that I was like 20 when I did most of it.

Columbus: Milo-Grogan Developments and News
^ Indeed. People from out of town don't think Columbus has run down parts when it actually has plenty. They're not destinations unless you work for some kind of industrial supplier or something.
