CNN's Atlanta bias.
I don't think ESPN has bias toward any cities or teams, but they have found a way to turn sports reporting into propaganda.

Columbus: General Transit Thread
Pickaway County residents sure sound like they would fight that tooth and nail.

CNN's Atlanta bias.
Thats incorrect. Was it "headline news", you were watching or NY1? Those are market specific. It was Headline News. Is NY1 a NYC-specific CNN network?

CNN's Atlanta bias.
Both times I was in the NYC area (one for three days, the other two weeks) it seemed that every story on CNN was about NYC. Maybe it was just coincidence, but I think CNN's mix of stories on any given day may be different depending on which area you are in.

Today, I Overheard Someone in my City Say...
Columbus, Indiana is about an hour from Louisville. They probably get a lot of visitors from the CI.

Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
You can still by RC Cola and Diet Rite? Did you order them at the only still-functioning Rax? (If you know where a Rax in actual operation is, please let me know. Also, where do you buy you're Diet Rite and RC from?) There are two Raxes (Raxen?) in Ashland, Kentucky. Both opened in the past 5 years. One's in a mall food court and the other's in a gas station.

It's hard to tell, grain elevators don't usually bother with landscaping, ahahha.

Gas Prices
Ahahaha, this reminds me of people who drive a big truck every day so that they have space to carry big stuff home from Lowe's 0.1% of the time. LOWE'S WILL RENT YOU A TRUCK. CHEAP.

Cincinnati and the smoking ban
I don't think the smoking ban is even about cigarettes at all. It's just another way to trap people inside their houses, decrease socializing and park them in front of TVs.

The top one's a grain elevator, if that's one of the buildings which of you didn't know the purpose.

Columbus: Clintonville Developments and News
GCrites replied to Summit Street's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & Construction^ Does anyone have any insight on why Columbus has/had so many dry areas? Is it because so many people in town were Appalachian Ohio and Kentucky "immigrants"? Adams and Scioto Counties have dry areas, and Greenup and the county west of it (can't think of the name) in Kentucky are dry.

Question for those with scooters
Maybe if someone who saw them stealing the bike would have killed them, less people would have their bikes stolen.

Cincinnati Steps Map
Those steps used to go up to houses that are no longer there. The steps were built into the wall and the wall is needed to hold the hillside up (many landslides in that area). The roadway was not as busy in the time that those steps were built. Probably built in 1938 as part of the New Deal Program when Columbia Parkway was constructed. I think the city is about to go and close all those steps off...it involves constructing a wall in line with the existing wall and backfilling the old steps to grade. Easy there, not everybody understands our M.T.R./engineering lingo.

I think someone should quote every single one of my posts so that people who have me on ignore will still see them.

Gas Prices
Those foo's at the food companies need to get with the program and get their stuff off the roads and onto the rails.

Saturn (Car) Issues
I'm a car guy, but this is a total ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ for me. I'm not into cars to fix dopey sensors where the slightest misfunction makes the overly-meticulous computer go haywire. Gimmie a cam and headers swap that increases horsepower by 75.

Plus, they mention Slayer in their radio ads -- "Okcupid.com rules! Like Slayer!"

Ignore feature
I don't like ignore. I'm currently ignored by 2 people and can't for the life of me understand why. I'm a smart, fun and courteous poster who doesn't offend like David does (hehe). And he's only ignore by one!
