Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
"We don't want another subway". Well, hopefully there's not another Depression to stop the streetcars.

^ Yeah, I noticed that Bogart's used to run a lot of bands that I really dig, but they've only ran 1 or 2 that I wanted to see since 2005.

I believe the mainstream is to blame for the way rap is abused. Anytime the mainstream comes around to any form of music, it is dumbed down to the lowest common denominator.

The term "monster bass" rules.

"Time Out New York" travels to Columbus: "the Midwestern San Francisco"?!
I think I have an idea what the article means by that, but it doesn't actually mention it.

Woof. I recall saying something such as, "This town is like an Appalachian town except without the hills, good music or charm." My, my, my, once bitten twice shy, baby.

A few crappy pictures of Portsmouth murals
Packrats (the one with the rat) is no longer in business. The ladies that ran the place were nice. I remember playing guitar with some friends in there.

The Worst City Names
Pickaway county has four or five roads with Hitler in the name. Hitler Rd. #1, Hitler Rd. #2, Huber-Hitler Rd. and Hitler-Dresbach Rd. There was a prominent Hitler family there in the 1800s.

Why you should always use SEALED plastic cups at hotels
Our antiseptic society is why people are so sick today. Farm livin' back in the '90s made me immune to almost everything. I never get sick.

I like it when they go in there with the semen light.

Portsmouth, OH
I can tell from my recent visits that Shawnee chicks are a little more wild compared to when I went there. Back then (late '90s-early 2000s) it was a lot smaller and people sometimes called it Shawnee High.

^ Ha. My buddies and I think that one day there will be retro Pizza Huts like the ones built in the '70s and '80s because today's Pizza Huts are so sterile and awful inside. It's a good thing they had such a cool vibe inside the store; their pizza is terrible. Really, most fast food places of the '70s were very interesting inside. At Captain D's and Long Dan Silver's you felt like you were on a fishing boat, Taco Bells actually had a bell and made at least a slight effort to look Mexican inside and Arby's had the cowboy theme. Now ever thing is white and gray or "2000 Institutional Piss Yellow" and maroon.
