Metro Cincinnati: Road & Highway News
If you keep your car in the garage then break down on a parkway, the world rights itself.

When should urban growth stop?
My dad told me, back in the '80s, about plans for a Super Outerbelt that was to be 20 miles or so outside of 270. Wouldn't that be a mess?

I was using British English, where a group is a plural entity.

These shots are from around 9:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning; the downtown Craker Barrel was packed. "Downtown Cracker Barrel" is usually an oxymoron.

Where in the world is RiverViewer?
Or "Eau Rouge" if you like auto racing.

That's a good point. I'm way more likely to dance to Def Leppard than rap, for one because I know how to play some of their songs (mostly their early New Wave of British Heavy Metal stuff, but I do know "Pour Some Sugar on Me"). I know how to move to it better than the fake 13/8 time stuff that poses as rap today. Hell, if I as a musician have trouble moving to it, most chicks aren't going to be able to either. And they can't. That's one reason the 2 and 4 '80s rock has made a resurgence at the dance clubs; the other being that it actually has melody instead of just beats.

Sublime aren't very popular outside the Midwest.

The Dating Thread
It hasn't helped that TV and movies since 1990 or so have demonized being single. Single characters are treated like sick dogs instead of independent, fun-loving and empowered individuals.

Those old V8 Crown Vics and such are very inexpensive, extremely reliable, easy to repair and most cab companies have huge piles of cheap used parts sitting around for them. They save big bucks by running those things over more complex, fragile FWD cars, easily enough to recoup the gas costs. And those small V8s are actually quite efficient for what they are.

Is Montgomery a good place to live?
Those look like nice places, though I don't like EIFS on houses (the top one).

That's why I avoid dance clubs. Dudes go in thinking they're going to get laid (like it's 1970-'85 or something), when in reality isn't likely to happen. Then they get all pissed off when they don't get any and fight. I wish they'd bring back singles bars.

I'm not advocating doing stupid stuff, but watching others being stupid on their own accord can be fun.

Homes of Upper Arlington
The only problem with living in UA is falling into the trap of going to UAHS, commuting to OSU while living with your folks, getting a job downtown, buying a house in Arlington (the "Upper" is implied) and only hanging out with your UAHS class for the rest of your life. Also, was it Upper Arlington or Grandview that had high school fraternities and sororities until the '60s or '70s? Apparently, they were almost as partied-out as their college counterparts.
