The unions knew how to talk to blue collar workers in a way that today's academic-centric Ds struggle with. There was an in during the past.

Pickaway County: Anduril Arsenal-1
Xylem has been opening up powerline ROW for months now miles away from the site. They definitely want redundancy even on smaller lines. I was going around a corner on Walnut Creek Pike thinking "this house stays" then two seconds later there's a surveyor. No that house doesn't stay!

Maps (Google Maps, etc)
Somebody changed US-23 south of Columbus to "Corridor C" years ago and it hasn't been fixed. Ohioans aren't used to calling their highways using the Corridor letter (unlike West Virginians) so it's quite confusing when their GPS is barking at them to get on Corridor C.

Columbus: Short North Developments and News
GCrites replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionSometimes a business really wants a space so they approach the landlords and offer double the current rent or more. I'm not saying that's the case here, but some landlords are going to take that no question while others are going to stick with who they already do business with. It's a risk though since the new tenant might have a lot of money now but won't in a year or two.

Metro Cleveland: Road & Highway News
It's a question of making sure good pedestrian access is a part of the design and of volume. If a roundabout has cars moving across all parts of it at all times that's a really high volume junction and additional pedestrian infrastructure such as a bridge or pedestrian subway may be needed. Cases of that high volume at roundabouts are rare. In most cases however the car volume is low enough to create enough of a break for pedestrians to get through. In a high-volume of pedestrian area a signalized intersection is often preferable.

Greater Cincinnati Metro (SORTA) and TANK News & Discussion
In the now-getting-to-be-distant past, streetcar opponents in Cincinnati were using the mere existence of BRT in other cities to try and block construction of the streetcar and light rail in general. With the streetcar operational and successful for years now these days those arguments have largely subsided. In the past there weren't many BRT advocates in Cincinnati who weren't streetcar opponents in disguise -- which also no longer true. So past attitudes seen on UO no longer apply for the most part.
