  1. The neighborhood residents in Columbus that resist the changes live in neighborhoods that haven't grown very much since then either such as Clintonville.
  2. Tech doesn't like that COVID is going away.
  3. Dayton just does it. Road diets and bike lanes all over town. They ask for forgiveness rather than permission. Little forgiveness is required.
  4. City-Data users' favorite new app

And they've got him sitting in a way that makes him look way fatter and older than he is.
  6. Rich guys hate income taxes, like sales taxes since they're regressive and don't even notice things like user fees.
  7. Way too 2000s inside Ovals everywhere Circles around signs No menus on chalkboards anywhere Too much silver
  8. They really need to push back street parking from all corners back 5 feet because of SUVs. SUVs have caused all kinds of trouble in our built environment since it wasn't built with them in mind for so long.
  9. ^That kind of lot shape is not allowed in Pickaway County and hasn't been for over 25 years.
  10. This guy lives about 5 minutes from me and was butthurt that the taproom at his farm got shut down during quarantine. First thing I thought of when he released his cowboy campaign theme was, "That's not going to play in Cleveland." Or Toledo for that matter.
  11. If we get a new zoning code that's not stuck in 1957 that'll help.

  13. Highlines are reformed skywalks.
  14. Haha, remember "Dukakis" and "I Love Carol"?
  15. This is why I don't have any streaming services. I have zero trust in them to not yank anything I enjoy.
  16. Chipotle's losing its exclusive sheen quickly. Their parking lots don't all seem way too small anymore and they have locations in Obetz, Groveport and two just for Canal now.
  17. Could be, I thought the downtown zoo got shot down in like 2018 but it was more like 2014.
  18. Everyone wants to sell me a sub but I don't want to eat them that badly.
  19. Less Old Money in Columbus. New Money isn't as massive as Old Money. Up until 3-4 years ago it was nearly impossible to sell a house over $1M in the Columbus metro whereas that hasn't been a problem in Cleveland and Cincinnati for decades.
  20. I wonder if you can walk into a locker room and tell that it is "So 2000 inside"
  21. That may have lasted less time than the Bombay Bicycle Club building! I wonder if there was a building on 161 somewhere that made it even less time.
  22. A lot of the Rickenbacker warehouses are rentals so it's kind of interesting to see someone buy their own building. People always say thing's like "Look at that huge building Amazon's putting up!" and I'm sitting there like, "Um..."

I feel like Cranley insults parts of Ohio that are not Cincinnati or Columbus in his ads.
