Also to be clear auto shows have become less of a national/global thing aka manufacturers aren’t the ones putting on the show anymore it’s local dealers

So as discussed they’ll need a second location for their back up…. So could that be the new building downtown that’s angling for data centers large enough for a back up? Flip side maybe not… as I’d guess Amazon would want to own all their buildings, in which case where’s another building large enough with access to a lot of power?

My bet is on “sorry” means it’s going to be a distribution center But those are pretty high paying jobs if that’s the case

Don’t they keep AZs super close like within 30mins of each other Reminds me of progressive connecting it’s Colorado Springs offices to Cleveland’s by installing their own dedicated fiber to one another…

Could be an Amazon data center but Amazon already has a large one serving serving the eastern US (us-east-2) in Columbus east-1 is in Virginia so hard to image another one in Ohio. So if it’s a data center that likely leaves Microsoft (google could be a possibility as well) which they have 3 in Virginia serving the eastern US and gov so could be argued a spot in the Midwest could work. Only hiccup here is that they’re already planning a data center in Columbus The high average salary would lean this way, but that would be strangely high amount people for a data center as others notes. If it does end up being a fulfillment center then it’s gotta be pretty high tech

I’m sure this has been discussed before is there any show that wouldn’t work in the Huntington convention center. I believe the auto show could still work as they almost did it one year. Boat show would have to be reduced in the short term, long term if they moved it to the summer and we have a land bridge that could be an amazing experience. RV show I would image would also have to be reduced

And we don’t think it could be Amazon

Koby Altman did mention during his interview yesterday or the day before that they’re topping out the project this month or next month Edit: Koby Altman 2 days ago in his press conference said “we are 2 months away from topping out the most massive practice facility in the world”

The relocation of the crew game seemed to have been really emphasized lol, reads as if this stadium goes through they’ll continue to take economic benefits away from Columbus how dare you! Which from a state perspective they should be in different on that, unless they explicitly bring up the state is also invested in the crew developments then that makes sense but the narrative should be they took it away from Columbus! (Which they certainly did) but that’s also how capitalism works and shouldn’t be a talking point as the state win either way.

Cincinnati: West End: Development and News
Agree on some levels Cincy will be the next Nashville or Austin except it can never be at the same level. the only thing imo it lacks is a theme and for that Cincy will struggle to ever match the tourism of the other two. But as far as ability to attract young people, businesses, and investment I completely agree.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Centennial (925 Euclid Redevelopment)
Cities seem to benefit the most when the family becomes involved and stay in the city (Lindners come to mind) I’m not sure that’s happened with these families.

Wish they could do every major development around town, imagine what The Edison could have been under their control. Glad to see this become a reality, hope Golden Hour events survive through summer of 2027 so I can get up there

Suburban Cleveland: Development and News
BoomerangCleRes replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Northeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionI haven’t seen any study results but from my own personal experience Biking and walking, 1 lane roundabouts are far in a way preferred than a 4-way intersection. Traffic is far more predictable, cuts 4 way travel to 1.
