The monument people seemed fairly insulted, but the commission tabled it. The commission thought about the idea of rotating the wall so it wouldn’t block the corner of the harbor but no solid feedback was given, I’d guess they’ll talk behind close doors.

This was a tough proposal from today the sailor moment came back and they for some reason want to move it to the north west corner and build a wall Luckily the commission felt the same and mentioned many concerns, the group presenting then flipped it on them a mentioned how Cleveland is even lucky to have this come here- Cleveland: Tremont: Development and News
They hired a very small company with 15 people and only two people working on the development and they used a template that probably gets used 100s of times for their clients. For a small shop that has no one dedicated to quality it’s put on the customer (Gies) to review, it’s a get what you pay for type deal- Cleveland: Tremont: Development and News
Their “developers” live in Texas and San Diego, I work on websites for a living this is a very average website leveraging Wordpress. They’re certainly using a good bit of stock images but you’re right they’re not from here and clearly didn’t look too far into the skyline- Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News

And I have the same issue with Edgewater why give up lakefront land to parking. Find a solution with something across from I-90 there’s already an unutilized ped bridge connection with Gordon park. I think most of lots wouldn’t change the park experience too much except 1 and 3 feels like encroach a bit too much into the park.- Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News

We do seem to value engineer more times than not but to be fair at least they’re talking about doing something rather than nothing at all- Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
I use the Shoreway daily, the distance between where the current “boulevard” exists with a 35 mph speed limit and deadman’s curve is such a short distance that turning that connection into a boulevard would hardly make a difference. I honestly do not believe theres a legitimate counter to keeping it how it is, anyone that comes up with a problem with it, which idk what that would be, can just continue on I-90- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters

I’d argue just south of the Potomac Yard neighborhood is very urban so I’d say calling it suburban and trying to compare to our suburbs would be inaccurate. That part of Alexandria could handle the amount of traffic a stadium would bring, but our suburbs would struggle not to mention the nimbys- Lakewood: Development and News
