  1. Favorite sandwich place around the city, haven’t been disappointed by any of the sandwiches I’ve tried also the fries are very good
  2. That’s a great spot, dangerous being so close to local west
  3. https://www.instagram.com/p/CyJvo1QJaiU/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== Any one know where these townhomes are going up?
  4. Maybe KJP will have an update for us later that maybe adds a garage to the Lutheran parking lots among other things hopefully
  5. I’d argue there’s plenty of parking across the river people can walk across or you know park in the West Bank ocean of parking lots. This should be the lowest concern though that’s crazy, this is one of the most walkable neighborhoods and we’re talking about parking for a park
  6. Here’s the new look hopefully not for long
  7. I couldn’t grab a pic in time on the Shoreway anyone get a shot of them taking down the EY signage on the tower?
  8. Can’t see they did a good job marketing it also the location was pretty poor. The Cavs did a far better job and have much better finished product that’s not just a betting window not to mention hours outside of games
  9. I may shed tears when I see it in real life, it might actually be the only complete street Cleveland
  10. New fencing up, hopefully some nice renderings will pop up after it’s approved on the fencing
  11. Also a very common color across the neighborhood of always thought of it as the unofficial color of the neighborhood even the church behind the quarter 2 is that color
  12. Agree on the biking portion but the walking experience is pretty horrific from garbage, deteriorating surfaces, and lack of a complete street feel particularly lack of trees or something to shade them from a sun on a hot day the bridge is bad for pedestrians but agree pretty good for bikes one of the safer places when riding east
  13. Looks great, it’s not exactly clear but it would be great if they had spots for boats to tie up so they’d be able to walk through the park to w25 or the restaurants on Detroit
  14. But maybe similar to the bengals practice fields the browns could go for an under/near an interstate bridge that could be river front like maybe under 90 near the Cavs new practice facility…
  15. I 100% agree if they want public money it would help to move the practice facility to Cleveland but others have made a good point should we give away land for more football fields, if the spot makes sense then I’m down with that I think it makes more sense for Cleveland. however don’t get the bengals “facility” confused with something nice it’s bare minimums and the only reason they had to get an inflatable dome is because University of Cincinnati’s practice field/lacrosse field that had an inflatable dome for winter months is being removed to get an actually domed stadium so the bengals needed somewhere to practice in the winter.
  16. So places that’s possible? • bedrock’s riverfront - is that area able to support something that size physically? • former nuCLEus - the most obvious? • the soon to be former courthouse/jail • lakefront - maybe over the tracks next to the land bridge/or where progressive thought about putting theirs? • the other parking crater w9th and st Clair
  17. https://www.cleveland.com/news/2023/09/lakefront-planners-brainstorm-ways-to-protect-lakewoods-gold-coast-from-lake-eries-fury.html includes start dates for other projects that start as early as next year
  18. This is great very excited to have this come in. Just wish that court yard was accessible for the neighborhood but looks like they’ll have a pool so I guess I understand. The buildings definitely seem match a similar style to The Dexter. lack of rooftop amenities is always surprising
  19. Cavs prepping a replacement for the new season?
  20. Aside from Cleveland whiskey is there a larger group that owns most the land in the south flats or is it still dormant individual land owners?
  21. And that was short stint and don’t forget Lebron lived in reserve square
  22. Anyone who has concerns I’d say it encourages players to live downtown instead of the suburbs which in turn creates a bigger market for the upper scale establishments/living, what’s a bigger sell to a young guy or a guy thats here only for a few years than being a short walk/bike/ride from your practice facility and your stadium. Also adds to the allure of downtown living, you might see might see player x player around downtown like we see with Terry Francona on his moped blasting around downtown etc. not to mention the small economic off shoot of reports, etc. looking for a place to stay the night in downtown vs brecksville plus they need to eat
