Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
Cleveland found to be 9th in America’s Most Valuable Sporting Cities “The Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA and the Cleveland Browns in the NFL are both 4th in their respective conferences and draw in huge crowds for their games. They also made the city of Cleveland in the state of Ohio around $988,000,000 in 2022 and are forecasted to see this grow by 44% to $1,423,000,000 by 2030.” https://www.olbg.com/us/blogs/most-valuable-sporting-cities

Still waiting to see what they do what the upper. I liked the tile but now with the windows in it’s not really that welcoming of design especially for a corner. Maybe with some lights and activity inside it’ll look better

Agreed should have been something that took in the north south and west views especially since residents could see the fireworks for Fourth of July and the air show but this orientation it’s blocked

To fill housing needs alone I feel like yes, didn’t Ken mention we could use a few more lumens around the city to meet demand that aside, over the next 20-30 years I’m guessing there will be a reversal on WFH and companies will need office space again and with buildings converting to housing that would cause a demand for more office space

Do these people forget they already stepped back and redesigned the entire project just so the church can still be seen from Detroit, how much more do they need to do to appease the church. Also was really hoping they’d learn with church and state that a permanent year round solution is needed to for the parking garage the murals at C&S are still down on over half the sides because of high winds, now they’re think about plants??? Can they just do something that’s won’t get affected by weathering

So that potentially clears that up, so this either confirms they’ll build elsewhere and still play at the current stadium until it’s done or what are the other options in NE Ohio if we’re able to believe this article, progressive field as mentioned before? I guess also a hint with them stating that their fans wouldn’t have to travel out of NE Ohio but not saying Cleveland itself also well done Ken you got a reaction out of them

Did anyone get ahold of the questionnaire they sent to season ticket holders about the new stadium that was sent in the last couple of months, wonder if there was anything about how far they’d be willing to drive if it meant getting a new stadium in a couple years
-
Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
The more I sit on this potential plan/news the more it’s hard to believe, it feels like season ticket holders wouldnt be to be keen on driving 2hrs every Sunday. Also so many sponsors/corporate relationships that will be on pause for 3 years while they’re gone maybe this leaked talk is just to get the public up in arms and help move forward the haslems real agenda with the city, moving the team for 3 years 2hrs away with the best formed team in decades is really hard to believe

https://syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/1074426-minnesota-vikings-and-university-of-minnesota-strike-tentative-stadium-deal.amp.html touché, and at the cost of 1.7 mil a night at times. Also interesting note they were interested in matching the # seats to the # of season ticket holders ended up landing in a 3mil/season for 4 seasons deal that also included revenue sharing hm imagine that city of Cleveland revenue sharing for use of land for the use of nfl games https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2013/05/08/minnesota-vikings-gophers-tcf-bank-stadium-minneapolis-metrodome/2145447/

Can the horseshoe really support two major sports teams playing back to back through different broadcast networks and different leagues requiring different set ups? I’d imagine that’d be a huge undertaking. And if the other option is the lower.com stadium even as you said it only seats a few over 20k…

Hard to see the browns playing in Columbus for 3 years vs just playing at the HOF I’d assume players and staff would prefer that You’d also think they’d rather keep the old stadium while they build a new one else where just to keep the income for the city for the estimated 3 years

To be fair their building in columbus that houses townhall 2.0 is pretty progressive, townhall is on the first floor then a moxie hotel and coworking above it, with a restaurant/lounge on the rooftop. Also to be fair the real rebol 2.0 is in a mixed use building with floors of apartments above it. I’d actually say (aside from the fact that they themselves park behind rebol 1.0) all their locations are pretty progressive and offer no specific/direct parking and pretty much rely on walking traffic

Hopefully our fellow forum members get pics of the First Energy lettering coming down. Wonder if they’ll even waste their time putting up “browns stadium” lettering or if theyll find a taker for the rights
