  1. 4/10/22 Foundation and elevator or stairs progress
  2. I would legitimately get rid of my car I’d have no use for it, if that ever worked out A stop behind the stadium, a stop at whiskey island, battery park, Lakewood park-ish, rocky river metro parks, bay metro parks, avon lake etc would be great for the west side I’m sure most of those suburbs would put up a massive fight but it would be great
  3. Everything looks small until you see a cement truck next to it for scale
  4. Was kinda bummed it was going to be a similar billboard so a electronic billboard could be cool depending how they do it. something what’s at RMFH would really cool for that spot, if it’s something like what you see in the side of I-90 meh but I guess I’ll take it instead of seeing a static condom or youth court abuse billboards 9 months of the year
  5. Left today 3/29 (dual cranes in sight from OHC) Right 2/25 Soon to be taller (at least from this perspective) than Rockefeller
  6. And that’s where I disagree they’re neighborhoods OF Cleveland they’re not separate cities so why should they not be included. Also 44114 doesn’t even include all the districts of downtown so how does that feel like an honest reflection of the city Also I don’t believe it’s cherry picking if we’re including all Cleveland neighborhoods, not like I said let’s just add OHC and Tremont
  7. Can we just a population number that includes CBD and all surrounding Cleveland neighborhoods, projects come up left and right and fill with a fair amount of people from out of state. It’s hard to imagine this number hasn’t been reflecting growing population Using 44114 as many of these studies do is such a bad metric and equally as deceptive imo is using cuyahoga county as a metric, really want to see Cleveland CBD + it’s neighborhoods over time
  8. Look forward to that massive cleveland clinic parking lot disappearing and maybe this spurs something for the WSM parking lots
  9. They spent just over 800million
  10. Not sure it matters how far they get they have the best attendance home and away in the nfl and in the top 50% of in terms of revenue. buffalo isn’t even close in either of those either of those stats and they’re getting a 1.4b stadium
  11. Probably good this density doesn’t exist anymore as it would’ve probably been victim to a mudslide by now but cool to see
  12. Which is what I assumed, and what I got from the article was the domed stadium is off the table due to the high expense… so Ken were you saying a new stadium with a retractable roof or renovating FE stadium with a retractable roof. Or is the article just assuming expense was the issue with going for the dome?
  13. Probably, a dumb question: A retractable roof is cheaper than a domed stadium?
  14. About time the lights have been out for quite awhile
  15. While the draft was here I was blown away by the amount of people that thought it was the ocean
  16. https://www.cleveland.com/news/2023/03/public-meeting-scheduled-march-7-to-address-physical-isolation-of-lakeview-estates-caused-by-west-shoreway.html
  17. will look great with the condos/apartment buildings behind it stepping up to from the West Bank it may end up looking taller than a lot of the buildings downtown, since (based off riding my bike over the bridge) Ohio city sits higher than downtown
  18. Riverview is 260’ with 20 floors and Lake View Terrace tower is 206’ with 19 floors. Certainly will fill the gap between them, will also make the former forest city bank and the quarter building feel small
  19. “Starting in 2023, the NFL will open up a bidding process for the NFL Draft Combine, the NFL Draft, and the Super Bowl in which different NFL cities can bid on holding one of these events. Although the league has made a bidding process, the locations for three of the next four Super Bowl’s have already been set as Super Bowl 56 will be in Los Angeles, 57 will be in Phoenix, 58 does not have a location just yet, and 59 will be in New Orleans. The growing theme for NFL teams that either build new stadiums or go through major renovations is that they awarded the hosts of a near-future Super Bowl. The last four Super Bowls have been hosted by teams whose stadiums were either built or renovated in the last ten years.” Looks like we’d have to pay up for a Super Bowl as well, at least we got the draft before this new process
  20. Nba did the same thing with the renovation to the Q at the time, they guaranteed an all star game if the Reno went through, and they’ve done the same over and over throughout the league which is why we’ve seen the recent allstar games in smaller markets
