  1. Big news, also hopefully will drive prices down. Watching Messi in a soccer stadium it’s hard to get tickets less than 300 Edit: will say if I were a Columbus crew season ticket holder I’d probably be pissed
  2. I also went, the venue is perfect and the reuse of the playhouse inspired floor is a perfect match as it feels more theatrical than rocket mortgage. I would say there’s not really a bad seat, really a great match for the charge and a resuse of the public auditorium. I will say I expected more people as others said but the Cavs getting an unpredicted home game certainly explains that. With bronny James now traveling with the lakers GLeauge team we may be testing out the capacity at the end of the month.
  3. Looks like their plan is through suburbanites favorite transportation system, the car and road
  4. Ken you haven’t posted it here yet but fantastic piece, insane insider info. Might be my favorite article you’ve written. Fantastic work!
  5. Another smoke stack or just the building
  6. I believe this was going to happen no matter the outcome of the stadium

  12. Touché I’m biased I’ve been seeing nothing but record breaking years for my alma mater and only see the region strengthen its investment in it I think same could be true of OSU but it looks like they’ve seen a bit of a fall off UC 2024: 53,235 students 2023: 50,921 students 2022: 47,914 students 2021: 46,710 students 2020: 46,798 students 2019: 46,388 students 2018: 45,949 students OSU 2024: 66,901 students 2023: 65,405 students 2022: 65,795 students 2021: 67,772 students 2020: 67,957 students 2019: 68,262 students 2018: 68,100 students
  13. I don’t think we invest in our local colleges as much as other thriving cities do like Columbus, Cincinnati, Austin, California. Maybe we do but we just don’t have enough people in our region/ maybe a disadvantage of having two other semi-major metros like Columbus and Cincinnati taking more edu funds but all these successful systems seem to start with an investment from the tax payers. just an outside observer on this one could be wrong
  14. Wow that will really change the vibe of that park especially if that other project ends up working out to the north of the park did they mention the plan for the existing building? Amenities or something? Also who’s the developer

  19. Plus a lot of people in the neighborhood have additional toys like golf carts, side by sides, jet skis not to mention non motored stuff like paddle boards and kayaks. It’s makes a lot of sense in this neighborhood
  20. they got a video of the S being pulled up
  21. Give me an OTR transplant, 3-5 story buildings, real complete streets pedestrian focused. no gaps between buildings various park sizes and trails. A lake front park for the entire length similar south beach but more thought out. tired of of the monolithic apartments buildings that can be seen anywhere, would like to see real character and smaller lot sizes return
