  1. Agreed^ nothing feels concrete still… Bibb said he’ll still work to get a deal done in case brook park doesn’t work out. Sherrod Brown jumped on the bandwagon and said the browns should be in Cleveland. It feels like until Haslam actually buys the land anything is still possible also throw in Ronayne‘s comments to Ken yesterday saying it’s not over. Maybe this will help clear the red tape, the city, county, and state now have an argument to make to the people that will hold up closing burke, they can now say you’re going to cost our region and state 100s of millions to duplicate infrastructure
  2. So how long until haslam closes the deal on the property or did that already happen with todays announcement?
  3. Passed by I’m guessing they have letters staged on the lower roof, they do have the cables drawn down probably ready to hoist folks up
  4. Not home to watch it but it appears signage is going up https://www.reddit.com/r/Cleveland/s/czcmvIhEGW
  5. I lived at that corner for the last 4 years the bridge was never lit aside from the road lights. And here’s the confirmation we’re not crazy:
  6. Another good quote from the Hamilton county consultant for river development ”There is not a funding model that can get us to $2.5 billion dollars (for a new stadium) within our community,” here’s the article btw https://www.daytondailynews.com/sports/new-images-of-13-billion-makeover-proposed-for-bengals-stadium/26L6P5NE7JCEXLUOH2Y2UWAHUM/
  7. Saw a funny quote from the Hamilton county president after meeting with governor Mike Dewine “you can’t give everything to Cleveland and leave us with the scraps”
  8. Isnt this just a tie over for a couple years and then they’re coming back to ask for a new stadium? the biggest change here is the practice and HQ they’ve been the laugh of the league for years
  9. “After years of hard work, and significant investment, we’ve now fully moved into our new production facility with offices in the adjacent building (we own both of them).….We’re planning on opening up to the public in mid to late October (we’re still working on final permitting) “ -Tim Lix (Cleveland Whiskey)
  10. I have a feeling they won’t, the separated path is so rarely picked. But I really hope they do, the painted road isn’t a real solution
  11. MGK and his people did a great job with 27club I’d love to see what they could do with a place like shooters, ultimately have a better anchor on the West Bank
  12. https://www.cleveland.com/news/2024/09/cleveland-metroparks-partners-announce-world-class-community-sailing-center-to-open-in-2026.html?outputType=amp
  13. City Council is saying it was supposed to go through them and didn’t they’re having an emergency hearing
  14. https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/philadelphia/news/sixers-proposed-arena-new-jersey-philadelphia-76-place/ slightly different since they’re being offered financial benefits to leave but similar in that they’re exploring leaving the city
  15. Anyone have a stream for the press conference, wkyc cut their stream off
  16. So we have a field, another field, and a field house. Huntington Bank stadium already exists in Minnesota but should note there’s not a Huntington Bank Dome also must be fairly long term deal as they basically said they’ll be on the new stadium
  17. Maybe they got someone to buy the naming rights for the next few years
  18. “The I-Team has learned the announcement is not about the stadium decision.“ https://fox8.com/news/special-announcement-at-cleveland-browns-stadium/
  19. Suggesting the stadium on Burke again
