Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
also shines a light on the fact that they were willing to build east of downtown and Burke with both being shot down by the city

Also thought it was funny the entire beginning of the video was of downtown Cleveland and its neighborhoods and then a millisecond view of brookpark

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
Just read through the statement… ”We have considered not only the Brook Park site but also other locations for a future dome stadium, including Burke Lakefront airport, which we have determined with the City of Cleveland is not feasible. We also cannot put a dome on the current building because of economic constraints and FAA restrictions. The Brook Park site is the most compelling option” Did they just drop that closing Burke isn’t an option for Cleveland or is this purely because of the timeline

Hate to make the comparison but this looks like it’s designed off the cybertruck, even the logo above where it says browns is pretty much the cybertruck logo. I think the stadium looks great though, especially the all glass roof

Does look really nice, could use more trees but a good looking facility

Speaking for the general majority of the public, not speaking towards the people that go the muni lot with there own vehicle. Everyone I know falls into those 3 buckets

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
You’re in general majority. Browns games days start early in the mini lot people then split from there a hour before the game to people going to the game and not, then split from not going to the game and staying downtown to watch the game and people driving back home to watch the game. Muni itself is a pull to keep people downtown or at the minimum bring people down for a couple of hours(parking rev)

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Of course they can do lease backs to whoever. I’m guessing this is a state of Ohio thing because there’s plenty of other reclaimed land that has private parcels

So how long until the city drops plans for the other 30acres of lakefront land

I heard summer slam in Cleveland hit some records. Most attended summer slam in North American history (globally only passed by Wembley stadium), Most sold merch in history, also supposedly the largest gate in wrestling history which the previous record was $10.1 million

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
They of course said they expect other developments to fill in on the sides
-
Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Some good fill in would be better if there were buildings surrounding it already but a good start I guess. These are walk ups, no parking is required, also no windows on the sides are allowed because the building fills the width of the lot

feels like a short timeline to respond, so I guess we can officially say burke is off the table. unless they have another package they're working on but are starting with the renovation (likely the cheapest/fastest option)

Cleveland: Ohio City: Bridgeworks Development
Oh no…. does a change like that not go to the planning common for the city. Just trying to think of ways it could be shot down

Cleveland: Ohio City: Bridgeworks Development
Ah okay good catch the matching brick threw me off seemed like all the buildings out of scope were white

Cleveland: Ohio City: Bridgeworks Development
Same and in a way the main angle it’ll be viewed from. The smaller structure on the right I feel like needs a green roof or something looks pretty out of place

Should be noted as well as far as a follow on project the surface parking lot is really not needed, the building is just about full and there’s plenty of spots available in the garage and not many use the unprotected lot I see more people park in it “illegally” for Astoria or banter. counter to what the folks may say in the planning meetings there’s more than enough street parking around the building for people that don’t want to pay for garage parking. so anyway as the developers mentioned in the planning meeting early on they should have no problem putting in a building in front of the lot and taking away some parking however don’t love how much was put into the dog park makes me think it could be a longer term thing

Although smaller and not as grand I think breakwater lofts also had a pretty impressive lease out timeline and with less amenities

Good designer too love the work Horton Harper does just feel like his work more times than not rarely ends up seeing a shovel in the ground. stinks of an opportunity for gies to fill something average.
