  1. Park acreage and outline of riverwalk
  2. breakdown of possible/probable uses for each building does make me wonder what type of retail would bedrock be able to attract, this seems like a very high quality project makes me think they’d be looking for high end retail like the design district in Miami.
  3. Commission challenged them to do something different from Solstice steps as we have enough and think of something else besides an amphitheater as that exists on the river already showed off 8 different interactions along the river (love the big trees!)
  4. They touched on the work they’re doing to get the CVSR station and say there’s an ongoing study but they’ve identified the location below as a potential station (apologies if Ken already said this before)
  5. Yes, here’s what seems to be some updated plans. Feels like less buildings (no complaints).
  6. I’d agree the opportunity lies in the properties south of Detroit and west of the “park”. id agree with others it feels like a highway in front of you with no protection from traffic
  7. Looks like the following remains, I’d they had an extremely successful spring seemed to lease out very quickly once spring came around. looking at what’s left aside from the penthouses all lake (expect 1) and downtown facing apartments are leased studios: 2 south, 1 west 1 bedrooms: 4 west facing, 1 south 2 bedrooms: 3 south facing 4 penthouses

  10. Highly recommend when there’s a lot of wave action
  11. Chicago may be more similar as far as industrial pollutants but pretty much all old land reclamation used trash
  12. Early 4th celebration with the new skyline
  13. I said the larger impact the land Burke could have. also there’s so much coastal land that’s been built on polluted and contaminated dredged landfill I’m not sure it makes a difference land is land south beach, New York, Chicago, San Fran, Boston all built on similar land and all have had significant developments built off it.
  14. just watched this video got me excited for the the even larger impact Burke closing could/would have or even on a similar scale what moving the post office could open up
  15. Well a rumor that got you to write something, that’s certainly a step up from a rumor. never sure when to read between the lines with you but I’d assume they’re the only ones that would make the announcement, right? Since the city owns it and I’d assume they wouldn’t let the FAA or the haslems take the honors for their efforts
  16. Might be one of the biggest scoops in the modern history of the city. guessing no word on when the city plans to announce it.
  17. Places like the hard rock stadium in Miami have satellite parking lots/utilize bus stations to mitigate traffic into events. So you park like 20 mins away and they bus you to the event in private charters. This is also not a great fan experience also the last bus to transfer you back to fairly soon after events which basically encourages the come and go mentality even more.
  18. Coming down actually pretty quickly
  19. May not get any work from this specific contract but I do know there’s groups at Glen working on several different eVTOL applications and have been for the last few years
  20. Throw some lighting or wording on it, would be a great landmark to pull people from public square
  21. And I’d agree with them we lost some great looking buildings. But fairly understandably it would be hard to say no to a 700footer
