  1. Saw something about a 14 story building proposed at 60 E Long.
  2. Hilton in Ohio has been attached to every major city's convention centers. I'd say its a given.
  3. By what happened with CH, he screwed up somewhere and needed a bail-out. Something went terribly wrong where they had to bring in a competing entity to essentially man the book or construction and tell the investors, your money's safe again. At least that's the way it looks to me...
  4. These turned out really well - just disappointed they did not wrap them completely in brick.
  5. We need a hole-in-the-wall tailor too. That would be epic!
  6. More news and expansion projects
  7. That's where he got the idea then... moxy.
  8. It basically is that. Lol imagine that in Franklinton without any screening - its a foolish idea.
  9. Geez that's an ugly logo on a building.
  10. We've seen a lot of areas like that in denser cities that get built up. I think it'd just turn into a mix-use district. Residential heavy.
  11. We're now getting to the point where the actual massing is starting to take shape. The floorplates are also getting smaller, meaning we should see an increase in pace come spring (with winter the concrete is hard to cure properly without sensors and blankets - it's an insane job actually to monitor them all. I sat in on a presentation by the engineers that did this for both Hilton 2.0 and the flyover ramp and its a very heavily-watched operation).
  12. We haven't used stacked parking in this city for at least 50 years. We have far too much surface lots. It's incredibly cost-prohibitive, foreign to most consumers (I sure wouldn't trust it with my car after never seeing one in my life), and foolish. Remember y'all, this is the same guy that harasses random people on the street for 30 seconds of fame and has pictures floating around of him and a pumpkin doing very... obscene... things. He's a complete waste of administrative time, per the commission. Oh, and he also told the PRESIDENT of Elford Construction that he knows what he's doing (Rob), because "I'm a licensed general contractor."
  13. I got one too on my review. Idiots. But this project will sink - the property manager can make or break a place, and they're definitely breaking it.
  14. Yeah I found it. They renovated the Olentangy facing part in 2023, and demoed the back. Wonder if they'll build a new hotel there or sell to an apartment developer.
  15. 1000%. They are every bit of what a developer should aspire to be. Edwards is close second, just that Broad Street building wasn't so great. I really like Neighborhood launch though - that was a good job.
  16. They are obsessed with value-engineered looking buildings. Just abysmal developers that barely give an inch to commission feedback.
  17. The terminal itself.
  18. I never saw any permits for that one anywhere, except the demo. Strange...
