  1. I'd say we're gonna see movement first week of January if not second. They're moving fast.
  2. I do have one issue though and that's the road. It's way too wide here. Need some sort of landscaped median with trees to break things up a bit.
  3. I'm not gonna say these are the nicest apartments ever but overall the design looks pretty good and like it will last a while.
  4. Rare occasion of NATO doing anything good haha
  5. You're not wrong. We just tore down all our good stuff. There are affordable housing developments on the east coast that look like luxury developments here just because they're designed better (costs are similar if not cheaper).
  6. Columbus has some of the worst architecture I've ever seen. And it just keeps getting more boring and horrible.
  7. If its $1.2BN a year, then fine, build it there. We the taxpayers don't need to give it a dime.
  8. Just to clarify I live in Columbus and was joking. I'm deathly terrified of heights as well 🤣
  9. Marysville is run by idiots. They have no idea what they're doing and now are bowing to the dingbats that think apartments are hurting school funding.
  10. They can remove all soils, put in clean fill, and incinerate. But with how much land is open on Parsons that is unlikely. I'd say that site will remain a gas station for at least another 15 years.
  11. Yes. And due to being a brownfield, it may be permanently restricted from residential uses.
  12. They will probably need to submit some form of traffic study. From a real estate background, I get the allure of the location. That being said, I think the city needs to make a bigger push to put gas stations closer to freeways and away from the core of a neighborhood. They're just not nice to look at (apart from Sheetz) and often are perceived as crime epicenters.
  13. I'd say that's a huge amenity for bridge park residents - one that may eliminate their need for a car. Definitely don't see them getting rid of it without something else in mind.
  14. People don't realize how little space you need to live, especially as a single person. The only people that really need a lot of space are large (5+ person) families, multigenerational families, or people that entertain (a lot).
  15. See prior comment. Plenty of crappy single stories and parking lots left to go.
  16. This looks way better than what was originally proposed. Much less like a box and more of a building.
  17. Gotta say I'm not in support of this. Too many mature trees lost. They would need to get creative to make this one work well. Plenty of ugly buildings and parking lots left to knock down before doing something like this.
  18. Coming back to this story, that I watched heavily when it was unfolding years ago, I am so glad Planet Oasis never went anywhere. Looks like the stupidest development I've ever seen, and almost a Polaris 2.0.
  19. I agree. These need to be razed. In addition, the commons are far from finished. All of these areas need activation, starting most importantly with the stage. That needs moved/pushed foward, with a new building in the back. Could be townhomes/condos/or small apartments. On the right side, some sort of small plaza/kiosk style development needs to occur, including a restaurant like at the fountain where the garage access is. These should be built in classical styles as well to ensure lasting character. Most importantly, its time we bring a wrecking ball to the useless garage and build a proper arcade with attached hotel. The commons are a good start but look unfinished due to these heavily underutilized areas.
  20. I moved from that town for a reason. Not a happy reminder lol
