Key Tower 947'

  1. I did a quick, unbiased Google search of "Intel." Every article in the first 3 pages of the "news" section was abysmal press. This is a company dying in front of our eyes. They're getting sued on multiple fronts, slashing their workforce, and their stock is tanking. Gelsinger is a moron and should have been fired ages ago. The problem with Intel has been, and will be, bad leadership. No one knows their place like in other companies, and everyone, including their engineers, only care about fighting for the top-level, C-suite jobs. The focus isn't the product, and there's little to no real team effort in that mid-tier section of management. At this rate, I would be shocked if Intel exists in its current form by 2028. It's hurtling towards failure, and being left behind in the dust. All I can say is that TSMC is about to get a screaming new deal on a brand new fab, and they'll finally be able to quell their ever-growing capacity issues.
  2. Apple dropped Intel because their chips were garbage. There's no way they'll let them touch making any more of them. Nvidia will always work with TSMC, and AMD is self-explanatory. Other than DOD, this fab has no client. And honestly, I trust TSMC more than Intel given its repetitive missteps and poor leadership. I'm a proud American through and through, but we are absolutely garbage at manufacturing chips ourselves.
  3. It's almost there! Love how this tower has such a great street presence!
  4. Grabbed a quick pic yesterday while I was in the area for meetings.
  5. I saw that the other day! Broad has it on a part
  6. Skywalks are something I wish they’d build more of in cities. Sad to see it go.
  7. This is a very good thing to enforce. They are long lasting and a great investment.
  8. Can always build it back - much better than parking lots scattered amongst buildings. That hasn’t worked out so well on the other “redevelopment” project…
  9. Completely against it. Once again, build back the street grid. They botched this once. Don't let them do it again.
  10. I know a good deal of people that rent out section 8. Great money, horrible tenants. There's some good ones for sure, but you've got a much higher probability of getting that one neighbor that's always disturbing the rest and getting the cops called on them all the time and etc, etc...
  11. The design is horrid. It looks like crap. Reminds me of a trashy 70s office tower. Complete no.
  12. They better build the street grid back and not screw it up like the redevelopment by OSU
  13. If they’re building this high, I’d venture to guess that lot has a project in the works as well.
  14. There’s no reason you can’t break up the new building - both interior wise and facade wise. I may try to draw something up tonight for kicks because it can be done.
  15. None of these have much to offer architecturally so I’m fine with it. However, I’d like to see their replacement be something that compliments the area. Put the larger tower in the back and offer small brick storefronts or at least a 5 story in a red brick and traditional design. Something that pays homage to the area.
  16. I like the height increase. But the demo I’m cautious of, and I hate the new design. All the nice brick and traditional style first 3 floors are gone for some modern garbage. And the 5 story looks hideous - reminds me of something from the 70s. I’d like to see that building in a completely different style than the main development, and I’d really like to see more detail than this.
