  1. Yeah it's been like that for a while now.
  2. I think that's old. It looks the same.
  3. Franklinton has some terrible infrastructure. It needs a lot of work.
  4. Plain City purchases historic railroad depot for Public Square project https://abc6onyourside.com/news/building-ohios-future-intel-beyond/plain-city-purchases-historic-railroad-depot-for-public-square-project-upper-arlington-brice-depot-community-building-construction-central-ohio
  5. Planes are loud. Very loud. Seems foolish - and they will HAVE to dome the new one with all that noise.
  6. Someone knew. That's why the ped bridge suddenly got funding...
  7. What I'm saying is the developer had no intention of doing what happened. They played along but were trying to get out of it. Which I get.
  8. He's not there yet - not in the pics I've seen. I'd say that's one of the first superloads - they're using it to unload the others.
  9. Well it's office. That explains why it isn't happening. But the original design for the apartments is way better.
  10. Marvin was a terrible coach lol
  11. This is very similar to what I envisioned inside - exterior is a bit different with the wood and sloped roof though. I’m pleasantly surprised and can’t wait for this to get built!

  13. I was just thinking about that one last night. Wasn't it a Schott project? If so I'm not surprised.
  14. 5/1 is going to become pretty rare. We're starting to see more and more tall buildings (and redevs) proposed as land becomes scarce. High, Broad, and Gay streets are main hot corridors (esp. high) where the recent projects have all been >6 floors. We even got a seven story in the middle of spring. The dispatch tower is a good sign we're moving in the right direction (and away from the filing cabinet architecture).
  15. They were going to try to, for lack of a better word, "conveniently forget" they were there. Arche. firm wanted the business and probably felt the contract slipping.
  16. For this one, unless they bring in a partner, I'd like to see Edwards + Wood Companies. Best of both worlds there.
  17. With how strong we're becoming in tech, that's possible. Everyone's relocating from the coasts.
  18. 99% of the time this fiasco happens, someone who's upset with someone snitches. Someone snitched. You wouldn't believe the amount of these things that get swept under the rug or "conveniently forgotten."
  19. THAT is what we call a good looking building!
  20. I love it! I did not expect this building to look remotely like this. I think that firm fired the guy who designed the Gilbert and northern portion of The Nicholas... (seriously - in what world is that stuff acceptable)
  21. I like the roof up front - on the back it needs help.
  22. THIS LOOKS SO GOOD! I'm mindblown!
  23. Partially wrong. It's also construction technologies. The driving cost is labor. If we automate those processes (i.e. modular, and not the backwards thing CR is doing), we could cut costs down significantly, allowing for more flair/detail on facades and higher end finishes in the units.
