  1. Lol I have a project just down the road from there.
  2. Rockford Homes does an OK job of building stuff but I'm someone laughing at their sudden interest in a development like this. It's a whole different ball game.
  3. Completely agree - put some patios out, create some colorful murals or signage, and create some pocket parks or places for small concerts/events/etc. Make it a community. That's the one thing Bridge Park excels at - every time I go there its lively and feels like a community.
  4. I hope they keep the mature trees out front and also someone develops that lot across the street.
  5. Schooley Caldwell was working on it - at least last time I talked to Sam he mentioned about the heights but how cool of a project it was.
  6. Weird reason when you're making a building that big. I'd say funding issues.
  7. I have no faith in this project in its current form.
  8. This just keeps getting worse and worse as they struggle to get funds.
  9. Possibly another reno? https://www.ten-x.com/listing/75-e-state-st-columbus-oh-43215/28249362/?utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=PaidSocial&utm_term=Hotel-NA&utm_name=15977-28249362-2023-Jul-24-NA&utm_campaign=Asset_Prospecting_TEMP_Prospecting-AssetProspecting-SBP-05142021&utm_content=SIID0001-PID0103-CAM-0035-NA-TID0012&fbclid=IwAR27qrk86z2kRvO9usU7Rz7Ll16dDjRBOdxn2eaeRsofCgq1pg7Gl9iW5EQ_aem_th_AezBe_mhjsWW1x-3yXFdvS2bRQ47ZPw4xNQrlk768S6gDVXOPv5rVjx3qq2WzSdukAPKd0nzLp_wJwGJKNKcgoXF
  10. Congratulations. You should also see our 6' apart homes that are masses of vinyl siding and giant garages. I don't hate growth - I hate crappy architecture. If you essentially "ban" that, the price of higher quality housing will drop because its the only option. These builders act like they don't make 20-40% profit on these homes though...
  11. People say we suburbia people hate development. This is why. Wrap them in brick and don't make the garage 50% of the building. Garage doors look bad enough - add vinyl siding with no character and its just horrid.
  12. Sh!tty housing from DR Horton in the form of 128 townhomes that will probably also not pass inspection: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/135s6hytd633ypy/AABcvbO81lTTAmlKoWcObAFwa?dl=0&preview=PUD-23-6+Application+and+Attachment+-+Madison+Meadows+Subarea+B+Preliminary+Development+Plan+(PDP).pdf
  13. This is amazing! We need more on street/close to street dining downtown!
  14. Guess this went nowhere https://www.nbc4i.com/news/local-news/meet-the-man-working-to-rebuild-the-iconic-christopher-inn/
  15. Cleveland is still a pretty rough city - if they get that under control I think there's definitely potential.
  16. Not the Atlas building but still very, very beautiful.
  17. I wasn't involved in this one (though I know the owner well), but I've got some insight on the clock building and have my own project just down the street from here.
  18. Historic McCune Building restoration work and Phase II of uptown streetscape improvements. Lighting, decorative brick pavers, street trees, and benches remain to be installed. Behind the building work has started on the elevator core and ADA complaint restroom addition. The first floor storefront depicted above is slated for completion in August.
