  1. That's not off the table if this is a 19 story and a demo. This area is more landlocked than it seems...
  2. This was the one I was referring to guys!
  3. I like the big arches - the materials look like the Vera and Xavier, but the geometry is next level!
  4. I actually like that building a lot - maybe it was the tallest thing in construction when I first moved here, but I find it quite cool. Only part I hate is the first floor is really boring.
  5. I can't wait for the day I get my investors and get to play in the sandbox too!
  6. Spring really is in need of first floor commercial. The "main roads" in Columbus are a great spot for that - it makes the little pockets like Gay street that much more special!
  7. The brick arches bring us back to the days of Union station and better quality buildings downtown. Nice to see it isn't that typical black brick developers are using everywhere as well!
  8. 100% - I would like to see something cool done with those first floor windows, and the black cladding on the main structure needs a bit more character, but overall this is absolutely amazing. I'd place this in the "Hilton" class of projects.
  9. Wow this turned out to be much bigger that I thought. Shame its so short though.
  10. The existing home actually looks nice there. I'm surprised. Gunzelman does great work though - some of the easiest to read plans I've worked on.
  11. That explains the crane I saw.
  12. The commons need to be knocked down. Those buildings are hideous and not at all "luxury"
  13. These are some of the nicest apartment buildings I've seen go up in a long while.
  14. I can speak on this development as I toured it. The whole place is a piece of sh!t. It isn't bougie - it's cheap. All the finishes feel like they're about ready to fall apart, the stairs are insanely steep and have 15-20 steps each flight. The balconies on the roof have terrible views and face cheap vinyl siding and the floorplans make no sense.
  15. Great news for the AD! Wonder what sport we land next down there will be. "The Pro Volleyball Federation's Columbus team has chosen a venue and a name. The new professional volleyball team, dubbed the Fury, will play its home matches at Nationwide Arena come the inaugural 2024 season." https://www.bizjournals.com/columbus/news/2023/04/12/pro-volleyball-league-columbus-fury-venue.html?csrc=6398&utm_campaign=trueAnthemTrendingContent&utm_medium=trueAnthem&utm_source=linkedin
  16. Topiary park was in a lot rougher condition than I thought it would be in - would love to see it improved.
  17. I agree - but that is an extremely ugly development for what should be a bustling urban area. I am hoping it gets denied.
  18. Mad about the hotel on Spring and Union Station for sure. If I ever get a hand in this city I will meticulously rebuild those as best as I can. We need to get back to building GREAT buildings!
