It seems like they're removing the whole block. While there's space behind their building, it seems they want more frontage. Probably for traffic reasons.

The Drury needs to go - always has been poorly planned. I'd love to see some 7-9 story buildings over there with angles and more glass to compliment the Hilton Tower instead of this disaster.

Regarding main street, what kind of architectural characteristics do you prefer to see? Red brick. big windows? Modern - much like Short North? Where's the direction things should go?

This would be perfect - maybe another level or two taller but this would be amazing. Try reverse searching the rendering online - it should tell you how serious this is.

From what I know JBAD seems to like to work with angles. It's definitely unique!
