  1. Is that 12 stories on top of a pedestal parking garage? I know you probably don't know, but it makes one wonder.
  2. According to this topographical map, yes the land the BP building sits on is roughly 727' and SW sits on land that is 649'. That could explain the height difference you're talking about.
  3. Nice shot of the east facing crown steel work. Thanks for the updated pics!!
  4. The east facing crown metalwork started going up today. I noticed while driving on the shoreway after work.
  5. I was downtown on Saturday and you can see they are working on the exterior on the east side of the building. From the camera angle, it appears nothing is going on, but in person you can see work is being done.
  6. The framework for the west facing crown is going up. I noticed it on Saturday when I was downtown.
  7. Hoping any day we'll see the final pieces of the crown going up!
  8. Looks like more structural steel went up...as part of the east facing crown.
  9. Where I work, they are building a new building, and they also had a ceremonial topping out several weeks before the last piece of the main structure was in place.
  10. Am I missing the big news about SHW2? I'm not seeing an details or a related article.
  11. Beautiful picture Ethan!!
  12. Driving by the building, even from the Shoreway bridge, the building always is bigger than what we can see in the pics. But the pics give us different viewpoints. So keep up the good work, we appreciate them!!
  13. I agree...we can't get enough pics of the new building and our downtown!!
  14. Looks as if the construction has already begun on the visitor center directly in front of the 55 building! That last pic above, looking down Euclid, is quite impressive!!
  15. Are they walling in the tower crane, the portion inside the base of the building, and leaving that portion of the crane there permanently? See Silent Matt's pic above.
