  1. Can they at least add some bollards to the buffer zone? Cars WILL park in the bike lane.
  2. Wish they would cap 70/71 from Front St to Grant.
  3. Agreed, and while were at it, let's develop the Goodwill parking lot across the street.
  4. Hopefully the High and Hudson one closes. Probably the 2nd worst Taco Bell in the city. 20 minute wait times if your the 3rd car in line.
  5. Goodnight John Boy, and that's a popular late night club (11PM - 3am) kind of spot. It's usually slammed so I doubt it'll change anytime soon.
  6. I don't think this will help during rush hour, as cars turning left will still have to wait a light or change or two to even pull into the turn lane due to the heavy amount of traffic going each direction. Not to mention the pain this will cause during the construction. The oil change place shouldn't have moved forward and more accidents will happen due to decreased visibility.
  7. Rates are realistically not going to come down much at all unless something significant happens in the market.
  8. Livingston would be an excellent street to run a trolley/street car down.
  9. Agreed, it'll spurn more development downtown. Hopefully these buildings are beautiful and help activate this section of 4th street.
  10. bridge will make this much easier to navigate. Looking forward to its opening.
  11. "historic" and most of the building is covered up with the new structure besides one wall? make it make sense...
  12. This... With a lack of housing and continual sprawl there has to be other forms of transportation. I can already hear ODOT in 2029 saying we need to add more lanes to the roads (Which do not improve traffic) right after completion of the 70/71 split.. Light/heavy rail needs to be implemented. More train tracks, less highway lanes please.
  13. There is standing room behind section 101, 113-116. I do believe during the playoffs they sell standing room only tickets. Concession stands definitely do need to be upgraded.
  14. I've heard them talk about renovations, but Nationwide Arena is constantly rated as one of the top NHL stadiums even with lackluster on ice performance. Besides some updates to concession stands and larger tv's in the concourses I think the stadium looks fantastic.
  15. Wasn't the scoreboard updated before the 2015 NHL Allstar game? I think it looks good still.
  16. Two thousand dollar apartments to stare out into a parking lot and the backside of a grocery store. It's asinine the developers weren't able make the two stores into mixed use buildings...
  17. The single story yellow brick office building across Spruce St would be perfect for redevelopment.
  18. What you mean, don't you love to take your 3 ton SUV to different stores in the same shopping center because it's near impossible to walk from one side to another??! Serious note, I'm glad to see bridge park expand from it's initial footprint and different transportation options should be encouraged. With two major roads intersecting at the roundabout it spells absolute disaster for pedestrians. I would love to see a wide sweeping tunnel cross under 161 as having pedestrians/bikers play frogger with traffic is an awful idea. Also, give me a BRT to bridge park going across 161 from Premiter Drive all the way across to New Albany (pipe dream Heavy Rail).
  19. Amazing! This project is going to feed nicely into the developed Whittier Peninsula. Also an easy walk to bars and restaurants on High St.
  20. I can't imagine the surface parking lot on Goodale and 670 stays undeveloped within the next 10 years. Wonderful spot for a good 20-25 story hotel.
  21. Stopped by the North Market for lunch today (1/28/2025). Got a couple photos of the new tower on my way out. Part of the facade is starting to go up as well.
  22. I used to live out this direction, believe me these hotels are filled up at night with commuters.
  23. It's crazy to think Clintonville is against new development along High St with this area being walkable. My guess is complaints about "where are people going to park" as if people are unable to walk, bike, uber, or take a bus to these businesses.
