I feel it would make more sense to reconnect Scioto from Calhoun to Nixon and bring back Lakewood St. from Bishop to Scioto. Reconnecting Jefferon would make for one Hell of an intersection at MLK.

It was previously more textured and looked like popcorn ceiling and had large radii where the panels met. Now the panels are smooth and I think have some sort of strip between them.

I used to live on this block. What a wild time it was. But also such a wonderful community. It was some of the best and worst years of my life all rolled into one. I'm so happy to see people bringing more to the community. I went into this building once and it was in bad shape.

I'm sure I'm behind the times but I just learned that Indy is getting a FORTY story hotel by their convention center. But I guess I should be happy about ours. It's cool kinda.

I toured it once as well. They had the disco balls from Studio 54.

When I was at UC is was an open pit they would store gravel and mulch and things in and I managed to survive. This is a much better use of the space.

Wow. Also the statues(?) along the top should be restored. And just imagine how it would look if the windows on the top were put back in and the pyramid illuminated at night.

Looks so good from this angle. I've been curious as to why they blocked over those windows, tho I'm not sure if they were windows before. I'm hoping they get a coat of paint or some attention to look better. Also just want to add that work recently began on the portal like vaults on the ground floor. I'm very excited to see the results there.
