True and we always thought of Cinci as more Kentucky than Ohio.

They can instead show the burgeoning Brookpark Road panorama of hourly hotels and adult entertainment.

Can we also use the Modell law to try and keep it here? 😀

Brook Park: New Cleveland Browns Stadium
Pickens is a loose cannon. He was called out by espn or nfl morning shows for standing still while Russell was scrambling out of pocket looking for anybody to come to save him by getting open.

Just extend the roof to cover a good portion of the seats (Leave DawgPound and some parts for those who the element) as Buffalo is doing and how most European soccer stadiums do.

There were enough lights to make its presence in those panoramic shots last night during the game. I saw only the cutout sections lit and maybe a row at the top. But Sherwin Williams missed a major chance for free advertising as these TNF games bring the works compared to regular network games - so many cameras and we heard this morning NFL Films chise this game to film for some purposes. They hit the jackpot with what both teams and the Christmas-like weather images provided- not to mention showing the entire NFL and Jimmy our fans are the most loyal and don’t eff with us again.

Good PR move. They must be giving her a % of the team solely based on name recognition as I am not sure she has the cash yet for a big piece. She earned the league minimum in 2024 of $76,000 and reported NIL of $ 4 million with more to come. But the Cleveland group is impressive in its own right with many representing possible advertisers- most notably the Progressive President and CEO. I wouldn’t discount this group of achievers: https://www.clevelandprosoccer.com/women-investor-group-announcement-august-2024

Cleveland: Random Development and News
We need to be honest about this. thank you. That is why homeless programming (medical and mental helath services, long-term housing, rehab and job training) should follow County Family Sercives HQ moving to the Saint Vincent campus. The east side of downtown from the backside of Playhouse Square Allerton, Reserve Square, and the Greyhound area all the way to the burgeoning Superior Arts District have way too much of this social burden. It needs addressed.

If so, I hope Ohio/Cleveland laws don't favor squatter's rights - then we may never get it redeveloped.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
Hopefuly the Columbus project will get a smaller award given the samller scale and how far along they are already (without TMUD). They are already on phase 3 of 5 with the very interesting adjacent elevate walkway and programming already well under way - what remains are some smaller apartment buildings that the weak claim are TMUD dependent. Hopefully the TMUD group recognizes the signifigance/impact of Phase 1 of our Riverfront and first awards the max to Gilbert. News: In the hyperlinked story they made news by claiming the TMUD decisions would not come until early next year - so much for the hoped for December Christmas news for Cleveland.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
We can only hope it reaches part of the Wharf's success as it does offer all peoples access to walk the waterfront dock but the dock-adjacent buildings, while many with impressive designs by world-class architects, cater to a completely different population (the political and global elite) - no workforce housing in sight except the public housing a mile nearby - with the highest office price per square foot in DC and among the highest condo price per square foot - averaging $1,000 to 1,100 a square foot (some approaching waaay above that average). I like how our Riverfront planning caters to what is realistic and possible for the unique Cleveland market by recognizing the need for inclusive housing among all options - not just exclusive housing as in DC - and considerable public access areas with even more impressive urban vistas.

Ouch!! I like the competitive attitude. Maybe the architect bid on the County Garfield Jail and lost but tweaked the design to repupose their hard work for this site (like the Brady Bunch movie where Mike Brady the architect had the same design - identical to their house - for every project proposal).

Urban Ohio "Picture Of The Day"
I always thought the buiding on the left was by the same architect as Terminal Tower but not think it is the case. May just be style that many copied in that period as I believe I have seen similar looks in Poland and Moscow.

New clue - thank you! That leaves apartments, condos/mix, more Cuyahoga County offices, or maybe the tallest and narrowest IKEA?

sad to say it looks like a cousin to Bridgeworks. We'll accept as it will trigger furhter needed development, Luckily this development is also surrounded on all sides by a uniquely only-in-Cleveland landscape and views, otherwise it could be mistaken for clones in C-bus, Nashville, Charlotte, DC MD/VA burbs,...

Lake Erie
was in jest - but not the part about ballast water has been our concern for decades (see zebra muscles and other foreign species that stow away in the ballast) expecially in this the shallowest of all Great Lakes. The upside as the shallowest is Laker Erie can completely refresh itself in less time than the others

Cleveland WNBA Bid
How is that even possible with their success in the bustling C-bus market. No wonder the word on the street is Haslam wants to buy the Blue Jackets as he smells a bargain basement deal given that valuation.

I hope the warmer water is not due to the cruise ships tourists taking over our Gteat Lake - coincidence I hope. Seriously though, we hope they are flushing their ballasr water before entering the seaway to the great lakes as stated by Nat Geo.... https://www.nationalgeographic.com/travel/article/cruises-on-the-great-lakes-are-giving-new-life-to-the-rust-belt

Also while we are self-diagnosing our impatience with Haslam, Geis and the mirage of a sklyline changing hotel/condo... Here are some ways you can learn to cultivate more patience: Test your patience with smaller tasks. Identify triggers. Practice mindfulness. Slow down. Practice acceptance.

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
We recall Continental being the healthier of the two with the CLE hub especially so. Unfortunately both companies succumbed to the consolidation frenzy occurring and couldn’t resist the idea of the monster combo as they were the only two left at the dance without a merger partner. United honored the Continental commitment to remain at least 5 years at CLE to get approval then 5 years+1 day they were gone. The cultures never meshed and the offspring is mediocrity today. The merger should have been Continental into United not the other way as happened. So sad as we had a great airline hub.

Understand we all see things differently…seeing the nearly complete tower pic above with the vertical banding, I first imagined the 5 vertical columns lit in 5 different colors at night to resemble a histogram.

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
Yes it would be nice. While we can’t imagine United returning to operate a hub for a 3rd time at CLE we would gladly accept. The writer seems a legit aviation strategic and financial expert. Hopefully Bibb and Ronayne have sent out feelers to United to see if this just more hopium or if is a future possibility. Maybe United would want to weigh in on our pending $2billion airport redo. There is still time to trade St Jimmy’s option for the BP property and instead offer him part of Burke (or other) so the BP land could appended to the existing airport footprint for aviation related purposes such as if United would want to develop an adjacent base ops there.
