UO Cleveland Happy Hour discussion
I know this is probably a stupid question, but every time I read this thread, I can't figure out what "R/S" means.

Pet Peeves!
Of course they don't know the difference. They use both terms interchangeably and mostly inaccurately.

Cleveland: Little Italy Neighborhood Discussion
Are you thinking of the Corbo's restaurant or nightclub? The bakery was indeed in the corner building (where Mia Bella is now) for quite a while before it moved a few years ago up the hill a few storefronts.

Shouldn't the new market on Murray Hill Rd. be opening up soon (if it hasn't already)?

Pet Peeves!
That's because he doesn't want to believe that he married a commie! ;) I think that today "socialist" is the right-wing-approved insult for any supporter of a liberal policy. "Commie" is so 50s!

Probably both, but I meant differentiate. I probably should have said "tell" instead of "understand". My point is with respect to going to see a doctor, by the way. It's ridiculous to go to the ER regardless of whether you have a cold or a sinus infection.

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
We did do that. Then we figured out the costs and discussed possibilities for who would pay for it. And ideas outside of RTA (which seems cost prohibitve for this service unless a major sponsor is found) don't belong in this thread anyway.

Or we could just implement every idea every forumer proposes without thinking about the possible obstacles and reasons it hasn't yet been implemented.

I think it's tough for most people to understand the difference between a sinus infection and a cold, especially since a cold can cause a sinus infection.

Cincinnati Reds Discussion
Because it was a carry-over joke from the Bengals thread. Just trying to lighten things up around here. It seems like it's been awfully tense around here lately, especially in the sports threads. Anyway, go Reds. I will be rooting for the only good MLB team in Ohio in the playoffs to overcome the no-no tonight and pull off this series.

Cincinnati Reds Discussion
The Indians will be better than the Reds next year. I guarantee it! Relax, I'm joking. :)

C-Dawg, as far as the water goes, I think it's more out of necessity due to the high water table than any other reason.

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
I was mainly replying to shs96's $800 party bus comment.

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
I think they were mostly referring to the food quality, not the decorations.

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
I believe KJP's $30,000 figure was yearly. The $800 party bus times 52 weeks would be $41,600 for a year (and that's assuming they'd split those 6 hours over 5 days, which I guarantee you they wouldn't).

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
I heard someone say it was like an overpriced Applbee's one time, and that's definitely bad in my book. :) Not that I didn't want to go there and form my own opinion, but it definitely influenced my decision a few times when I could have eaten there but decided on another place instead.

Cleveland: Downtown: Playhouse Square Development and News
When the new bridge to the parking structure is completed, does this mean people heading that direction will have to exit through the Allen Theater rather than the current hall where the gift shop is? EDIT: I think I get it. That routing is temporary until the atrium is complete, correct?

2010 Gubernatorial Election
A couple weeks ago, I would have said "Kasich, hands down" as well. Now I say "probably Kasich" as it looks like the race has tightened up a little.

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
Are you able to share? (I assume not since you didn't, but I thought it was worth a shot. :) ) I never heard anything good about the place. It seemed to me like it was overpriced chain-style American food.

So are we only trying to draw hip people to E. 4th and Chinato in particular?
