http://www.pcworld.com/article/201291/apples_free_iphone_4_cases_come_with_pinch_of_scorn.html?tk=hp_blg "Apple made no apologies for the iPhone 4's reception issues in a hastily-summoned press conference Friday. Instead of expressing regret, the company offered free bumper cases and full refunds to anyone who's not satisfied, and basically accused the press of unfairly pouncing on Apple's newest product." Maybe they'll release another software update which just almost shows max signal bars and they'll think that'll make everyone happy. Why fix the problem when millions of people will buy your defective product anyway?

Cincinnati: Crime & Safety Discussion
There was recently a rash of burglaries in the Cleveland Heights/University Heights area. Of course, the burglars pushed their luck and burglarized one too many homes. The police caught them and found they had valuables from 5 different homes. It was three kids, ages 12, 13, and 15. They had a loaded gun and a knife on them when they were caught. It definitely seems like you are hearing more stories of kids at least as young as 12 being involved in violent crimes these days.

iPhone
I'd suggest you just go play with it. There are many great features on both phones. Android phones can do some things iPhones can't do, and iPhones can do some things Android phones can't do (right now, namely, video editing). I like iPhones, but I like Android phones better because they seem to catch up quicker when a feature falls behind the iPhone than vice versa.

Cincinnatius, Please show me another phone that can do video chat face-to-face and has the app built in and the app starts with Face and ends with ime. Oh, also, show me another phone that can do all this and have a logo of a fruit on the back. Then, you need to make a Genie appear and have him manufacture those phones right in front of my face so I know that Steve Jobs didn't actually invent them. Didn't think so. Obviously the iPhone is superior to all others.

Ohio Cities' Downtown Population
I would have guessed just under 400 (with approximately 232 out of 236 units occupied), so I'm not sure if that's north or south. :) I don't think any of them will be counted in the 2010 census.

Should this be moved to Completed Projects?

Ohio Cities' Downtown Population
April 1, 2010 is the census day. Anyone living in the building on that day should be counted. If 1,000 people moved in April 2, it'll be 2020 before the 668 residents are counted.

That was the point in my sarcastic post. You're getting technical by saying the iPhone has it out of the box and the Android phones don't. It's easily attainable for free on the Android phones, and apps are touted as a simple to use feature on both phones, so I don't think it's a big deal to download the app if you're looking to video conference. Also, your original questions were: "those options are? can the person see what you see like the iphone?" and "You're telling me that all of the above phone can do video chat in the exact same manner as the iphone 4? Where you can do face to face and video where the recipient can see exactly what you're seeing. If they can why have none announce that?" and "That doesn't answer my question. Here in the states is there another phone that has video/camera capabilities equal to what is offered on the current iphone? Yes or No?" Once I answered those questions, you changed the question and added "built-in". My point in all this is not to say the iPhone isn't a great phone or doesn't ever push the envelope. My point is that Android phones are also great phones. I think Android phones have pretty much caught up with iPhones because you will see some features appear first in iPhone and then they'll appear on Android, but also vice versa. And I think the ones that show up on Android first (like multitasking) take longer to make their way over to iPhone due to the closed nature of the OS. Features seem to rapidly migrate over to Android phones. FaceTime is a great app, and sure, it may be better in some ways than the Android equivalent right now. But I'd be willing to bet an Android video chat app will emerge (whether it be Fring, Skype, or another app) and become better than FaceTime fairly soon.

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
I thought you meant it was a recent development that the bathrooms were disgusting. I don't like dirty bathrooms anywhere, but for some reason I expected it at Johnny Mango. At Fahrenheit, on the other hand, I definitely expected nice, clean bathrooms.

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
I agree that the bathrooms are disgusting, but I've been eating there for over 5 years, and they've always been that way. Also, my wife and I recently ate at Fahrenheit, which was very nice and our food was good. However, the bathrooms even at Fahrenheit were pretty disgusting (although not on the level of Johnny Mango's bathrooms). How can such a nice restaurant not have nice bathrooms?

You're telling me that video editing and video chat are built in features of the N900 phone, right out the box? That is the question. Email isn't on the iPhone out of the box. You have to set up your account. You can't even make a phone call right out of the box! You have to press a button to make a call.

Yes. http://www.android.com/market/#app=com.fring EDIT: The above link doesn't seem to go straight to the app in the market. To get to it, go to Top Free apps, category Communication, and it's about halfway down. Here are links to the two screenshots: http://www.android.com/market/data/screenshots/com.fring0.png http://www.android.com/market/data/screenshots/com.fring1.png It works over BOTH WiFi and 3G. The iPhone will only let you video chat over WiFi. Kind of defeats the purpose of having it on a mobile device for many people. Also, there is an app for both Android and iPhone, so you can talk to people with either phone, not just fellow users of the same device. It also works with other protocols such as Skype, so you could have a conversation with someone on their computer using Skype or one of a number of other video chat services. Also, Skype is coming out with an Android app by the end of the year. EDIT: For the visual of the short answer (yes) just click the link below: http://www.android.com/market/data/screenshots/com.fring0.png

Suggestions for a night out in Cleveland's Little Italy?
I'm not a fan of Trattoria but it's definitely better than Olive Garden (which isn't saying much). I agree with Murray Hill. You can't go wrong with Pepe at Etna. He's Valerio's brother-in-law (Valerio's restaurant, called Valerio's, is also a very good restaurant; they recently moved up the hill a little and Etna opened in its place) and used to make the pizzas at La Gelateria when they first built the brick oven.

Which small Ohioan towns are worth visiting?
I love Wooster. It is a nice size because you get the small town feel, but there's a nice college campus, good sized residential housing neighborhoods to stroll through, and a really nice and functioning small town downtown, complete with a beautiful courthouse, some nice and unique shops, a few really good restaurants, and one of the better wine bars I have been to. The night we stayed there was music on the square and a decent-sized farmers market the next morning. Also, I highly recommend staying at the Market Street Inn if you stay overnight. I have stayed at a fair amount of bed and breakfasts around the US and this was the nicest one I have been to. A great house with large, clean rooms, beautiful common areas, an awesome porch, and great innkeepers who will make you about the best breakfast around NEO. To top it off, the rates are very reasonable. It just opened, so I don't know if they'll go up, but it's worth much more than what they charge. I can't say enough good things about the place.
