  1. KJP for president!
  2. ^^It would be interesting to see what the Huntington pictures would look like from up above the beach. Same for Edgewater (like a picture from near the picnic pavilion).
  3. I think KJP is right. I did a Google Maps straight line from Huntington Beach to downtown, and the trees that stick out correspond almost perfectly to the "point" in Lakewood. There is nothing that would look like this between Edgewater and downtown.
  4. Is there anything on the site that would require programming work in addition to the website design work?

About 5 years. I just always used my own avatar image.

Wow, I just realized that there are predefined choices for avatar pictures. I have always used my own and never noticed that option. Now it makes a little more sense why some people have the same avatar. I always thought they were just copying off of someone else and yanking their pic!

He scored 17 and assisted on all of the other 15. Yes, he took over, but in a good way. I'd be more worried if he scored all 32 of those points, especially if he was relying on his (streaky) outside shooting to score a good portion of them. There's nothing wrong with a player "taking over" as long as they are distributing the ball as well as scoring. That's what a superstar should do.

Lebron should have had a hand in every play because it was working. He scored 17 of the 32 in that stretch, but other guys were still scoring. I would have a problem if he was always trying to score every play, but he balanced it out well. He scored when he had the opportunity and gave the ball up when others had a good shot. And it worked out well. They were right to stick with it while it was working, regardless of what Kenny and Charles think.
  10. Western end of Edgewater Park, up the hill from the beach area.

Haven't seen it yet, but I think I'd like it. Thanks for the reminder to add it to my queue.

Sunshine Cleaning (decent), but really want to see Sugar.
  13. He should show up with Arnold Shwartzeneger and bust some heads!

I almost feel like I should really try to like the movies so I'm not the only one here agreeing with David! :)
  15. LOL, not a half bad idea.

"This second installment in the trilogy ends with Gandalf intoning that the battle for Middle-Earth is about to begin. I'm pumped." - Peter Rainer, New York Magazine Sorry, I just couldn't get pumped about Gandalf and the battle for Middle-Earth.
  17. Sorry, that's what I meant. The kids of that parent may drink. The reason I say that doesn't apply here is because I would place a large bet on most of the kids at the party not having one of their parents present.
  18. Moonlight is absolutely right that if a parent is present, then the kids may drink alcohol. I don't think this applies to the original topic though.

No, actually it was really bad for me. I can't believe I wasted $8 to be tortured for 3 hours.

Unfortunately I got dragged to the Two Towers one. Torturous.

That's what I say to anyone that actually likes those movies. I just find them weird, weird, weird.

I liked Lord of the Rings even less than Grandma's Boy, and that says a lot. I don't know how people can sit through 3 hours of that boring, weird fantasy world crap.

I saw Grandma's Boy. OK, well I saw about 45 minutes of it. It was so horrible, I couldn't finish it (and I even made it through Eight Crazy Nights!).

Actually, I sent a text message to one of my friends right after that play...finding in my phone..."no moving screen by howard? wow", May 26, 11:15 pm. It sure seemed like the refs thought twice about calling a 6th foul on Howard in a few instances. How about in OT when they called a foul on Rashard Lewis when it easily could have been on Howard (when Lebron drove the middle of the lane)?
  25. Correct, but that doesn't really apply to this situation.
