I think in the field of Psychology they have a term for that: projection (oddly enough).

Moral Dilemma-What if anything should I do?
Actually I think you were right the first time. Either way, only kids whose parents are there serving them could legally have alcohol, and they each would have to be served by their own parent.

That's good, and you know that because you're close to her. If you were inviting 100 kids to a graduation party, I guarantee you that you couldn't know that about each one of them, though.

So you think all kids at this graduation party will be under direct guardianship of an adult at the party? Of course that may be the case, but you'd have to be living in a fantasy world if you actually think that it probably will be the case.

LOL, thanks Rob you made me laugh two mornings in a row. Although he had some good points, I thought the same thing about his attitude when I read the article.

I get very emotional during the games but I'm over it about 30 min after the game is over.

Very true. But I thought the same thing going into game 4. Once again, we missed many open shots, and especially some clutch 3's down the stretch. If we play well, we WILL beat this team. The problem is that now we have to play well 3 games in a row. But can orlando keep up the 65% three point shooting they pulled off in the second half? If they dont then cleveland has a legit shot at winning game 5, if not then its wait till next year again. The problem is that I've thought the same thing after each game. So far they have been able to keep up this ridiculous overachieving. Somebody different steps up each game, and the ball is bouncing their way. Since whe is Rafer Alston known as a good shooter? But he couldn't miss last night, including a banked 3 pointer (lucky).

Keep in mind that there will most likely be a large contingent of kids under 18 at the party as well. And what is this, Civil Disobedience?

What is with this "don't snitch" attitude with regards to underrage drinking? If someone told you they were going to commit a crime, shouldn't you notify the police? Similarly, if an invitation goes out, presumably to many, many high school age kids as most graduation parties are, and is advertising underrage drinking in a public park, shouldn't the police be notified? If nothing wrong is going on, a quick drive by by a ranger or policeman would probably easily confirm that. If it's a wild drunkfest as most of these turn into, then it rightfully should be broken up.

I agree, and I've also seen people watching TV or a movie while driving! Add to the list of dangerous activities tailing too close, especially at high speeds. I've also seen a lot of people using the police U-turns lately on freeways and getting pretty bold about pulling out into the left lane and taking their good old time to get up to speed, causing a lot of brake-slamming for people approaching them. And then there's one of the most ironic things I've seen that makes people drive unnatural and unsafe, the presence of a policeman, especially one driving in the right lane under the speed limit. All of a sudden traffic bunches up across all 4 lanes behind/to the side of the police car, and it becomes impossible to get out of the cluster of cars and switch lanes.

Ha, that's because I'm too nervous to talk about tonight. I believe tonight is the series. I feel if we can take this game in Orlando, as bad as we've played the first 3 games to come out of this stretch tied 2-2 and coming home, then we should be able to take the series. If we lose tonight, the season is pretty much over.

Moral Dilemma-What if anything should I do?
I highly doubt it, judging from the parties I have been to or been invited to. I am shocked at how many parents are so worried about what their kids and kids' friends think of them that they abandon all judgement so their kids will think they're cool. And from what I've seen, it gets worse the more suburban an area is. In that case, DanB probably would not be so worried about what would be going on at the party.

I believe we still have room for 2 max contracts if we don't resign Varejao and some other things fall into place. I don't remember what they all are or if it'd even be worth it, but I think it's a possibility we could offer 2 max contracts at the end of next season if we really wanted to.

Moral Dilemma-What if anything should I do?
There is a big difference between your parents and some friends giving you a few drinks, and advertising a graduation party at a public park as having alcohol. I know from experience there is about a 99% chance this is going to be an underage drunkfest enabled by a small set of parents. I have seen it over and over again. I could be wrong, but I'd be shocked. I'm an advocate for the drinking age to be lowered to 18, but I still think it'd be wrong to have a HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION PARTY in a PUBLIC PARK with invitations being sent out to high school age kids advertising free alcohol. That right there tells me enough about the judgement of the adults involved.

Moral Dilemma-What if anything should I do?
Riiiiight. I've seen enough of these parties to know the chances of that being reality are about one in a billion.

Moral Dilemma-What if anything should I do?
It's at a public park. People will have to drive home from here. 30 year olds can't handle the responsibility of having a designated driver. Do you think 18 year olds will? Something could happen to these kids driving home, and (even worse IMO) a completely innocent person could be hurt or killed by their stupid decisions. If these people are truly dumb enough to advertise this, I doubt they make good enough decisions to keep everyone safe. Besides, there are probably going to be 16 and 17 yearf olds at the party as well, many graduating seniors have some younger friends.

Moral Dilemma-What if anything should I do?
Possible, but I wouldn't bet on it. I know of many parents who throw parties with alcohol for their kids and their kids' friends, especially graduation parties.
