Ohio LGBTQ+ News
What rights of yours are infringed upon by two men getting married? Whether or not you or I think it is right or wrong or would want to do it ourselves is not the issue. It is up to each person to make decisions based on what they believe. The government should only step in when those decisions harm others, otherwise they are taking away freedoms (and aren't Republicans supposed to be FOR freedom...that means freedom for everyone, not just what you want).

Water: Our Secret Weapon
$68/mo! Yikes, I pay about $60 every 3 months.

A Bad Weekend
Probably because many of the people there think sidewalks would lead to... I have noticed a correlation between lack of sidewalks and concentrations of people that fear pigmentation.

How much extra for the watermark? :) This is great. And shipping for only 50 cents! You guys are generous.

The Dumb Joke/Funny Story Thread
^^I read the first account (that was deleted) and I don't remember it being much different/more incriminating than this updated one.

Today, I Overheard Someone in my City Say...
I think ColDay was dryly humoring you.

Advice for my 14 year old nephew
I caddied from when I was 12 until I was 21. I saved much of it and it paid my way through college (I made about $3k per summer average, less at first, more later on). I guess you just have to be at the right club (and working hard doesn't hurt either).

Signature Structure for Cleveland
I actually thought the McDonald's arch comparison was pretty hilarious.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
The numbers work out that Pittsburgh was only slightly more dense at its peak, but I would say that the neighborhoods are quit a bit more dense since a decent portion of the land within the city limits is unusable due to the terrain.

University of Michigan and University of Toledo: Secret Underground Connection?
I actually was thrilled to have Maya speak at our graduation. Having been to a few other college graduations, she was definitely by far the best speaker at any of the ones I have attended.

Signature Structure for Cleveland
I was arguing that it is unique to Cleveland (you argued Pittsburgh had as many/as unique bridges), not that they were national icons. The Rock Hall, hands down. That is why you see it in 90% of Cleveland shots when cutting out of a sporting event in Cleveland on national television. You can argue what you want, but I think it is the first thing (positive at least) that comes to many people's mind nowadays when you say Cleveland.

Peak Oil
^53 cents per gallon by 2050? That will be a drop in the bucket compared to what gas will cost then (if it is even still available).
-
Signature Structure for Cleveland
I think the point is that in Cleveland you can see double-digit bridges in one photo shot, and they are all very unique (and even of varying heights). That is what you would be hard-pressed to find in any other city.

Cleveland Eateries: A Where To Guide for Visitors and Residents
The outdoor seating is on the north side of the building.

Cleveland: Public Square Redesign
Bah, sarcasm detection should be higher. I hate smileys. :) How about a big UrbanOhio logo on the building, maybe with a picture of MayDay or Maleficient (or both). I still stand by my idea of cutting off Superior and having Ontario go under the intersection.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Ouch, below the belt! (But unfortunately, probably true.)

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Yeah, having what is now the 2nd tallest building (by a few feet) between NYC and Chicago isn't super-tall. Thanks for the pointless cleveland.com-style criticism. As I have said before - a supertall is 1,000 feet or more. Cleveland does not have any supertall buildings. It may seem like splitting hairs but it's true - unless we're talking 1,000 feet or taller, the term "supertall" doesn't apply. Yeah, I realized that shortly after posting. But if we really want to split hairs, he said "super-tall" not "supertall". :-P I still think people are having the small male unit complex (pope warned me to keep it clean), and not thinking about what actually makes sense in the context of what will be built west of he building and what is best for the city at this point.

Pittsburgh. He said ARRAY of bridges, not NUMBER of bridges.

Cleveland: University Circle roundabout
Do you have the plans for the new intersection? I have heard about it but really don't know what the intersection will look like when completed.

Cleveland: University Circle roundabout
^Huh? I'm confused. More details, please.

Cleveland: Tyler Village
I haven't heard people complain about the area. I always thought of it as being a relatively safe part of the east side.

Going to Cleveland this weekend, HELP!!!
If you were looking for the old Flats atmosphere, the Warehouse District is where the action is at now. The East Bank is a Future Development site.
