Tristan has great hops, but he doesn't have much touch. I don't think it has to do with him not being able to palm the ball, I just don't think he has a great feel for the ball and sort of catches it in his palm too much instead of with the pads of his fingers. I will admit, however, that overall he looks like a better player at this point in his career than I ever thought he would.
  3. They likely have backup centers that have played the position before.
  4. A team without their starting center. Hard to do much when you can't run the ball.
  5. I used to live on Murray Hill right across from the rapid station as well (Staley Hall). It wasn't THAT noisy, but I loved what noise there was. Sometimes when I can't sleep I use an app on my phone that makes city noises.
  6. I doubt Doug Katz put his life savings into this diner with the other successful ventures he has going. Also, I hear he used the kitchen of the diner for a lot of his successful catering business, so even if the diner business itself wasn't very profitable (it actually had a very good crowd though), he was getting good use out of the structure.
  7. The hotels do seem to be independent based on a few articles I saw.
  8. I've heard that one before.... Seriously, they've always tried to appeal to the iconoclasts. If there really is a trend toward urban living among tech types, maybe they are looking for the people who are "different". Or they'll just run Google type buses from the city. Yeah, you probably heard it when they did go downhill in the late 90s. Then Steve Jobs came back and completely changed the course of the company. That won't be happening this time. http://bgr.com/2014/07/01/android-market-share-2014/
  9. Apple is already drifting downhill. This design is a perfect reflection of that.
  10. To be fair, it looks as if the right side of the driveway exiting the rapid station was closed/blocked due to construction or something, which would have not allowed the bus to be able to turn around the support pillars onto the right side of Lorain Rd. I don't know whether or not RTA had any provision for what the bus should have done here, but I don't see how she had too many other options in this case.
  11. That's what I thought at first, too, but watching the replay it looked as if he slowed a little when he didn't need to and then had to dive. Either way, the receiver's got to score a touchdown on that throw.
  12. One thing I haven't seen anyone mention is what was Gabriel doing on the bomb where he was wide open? It looked like he slowed down and then had to dive for the ball, which cost us a touchdown. I think he would have caught it right in stride if he had just kept running.
  13. It's easy to be jealous when you're the second best city in the state. And I say that as someone who likes Cincinnati.
  14. I was sure we were going to lose until I saw your post and knew your track record for predictions lately. [emoji14]
  15. 5 square miles is huge. For comparison, in Cleveland, 5.2 square miles would be all of downtown, everything east to E. 55th from Woodland up to the lake, and all of Ohio City from the lake west to W. 45th south to I-90.
  16. Haden wasn't good either, but Gilbert was definitely worse. The out route in the first half he took a bad angle on should have been a touchdown. He looked like a fool a few other times, including when he ended up on the ground on the last play before the field goal at the end of the game. But perhaps the play that really cost us the game was when he messed up and didn't cover the gunner that allowed the fake punt to work and cost us field position with 2 minutes left in the game.
  17. Only on 3rd down. I'd say mostly on 3rd down. And I think it's because the problem is mostly our secondary. And 3rd down was mostly when they exposed our secondary.
  18. Our offense wasn't good, but our defense was horrible.

I completely agree. I think Kyrie is not only a great player, but extremely fun to watch. Not only does he have a great ability to use both hands independently as you mentioned, but his hands are so quick and his handle on the ball is like glue. I think he'll be awesome when defenses have to worry about other stars as well, which is why I think he has performed so well in some of the situations you mentioned.
  20. Although the mobile site is much better, why would you get rid of an app you already paid for (Tapatalk) which provides an experience superior to that of the mobile site? I used the mobile site for about 5 minutes and, although it's not bad, I already have about 7 reasons that Tapatalk is better.
  21. Let us know if that closure is extended first into October and then indefinitely.
  22. Good to hear!
  23. Yes, I know. Reread my post.
  24. So yesterday the only trains operating were Red Line trains between Tower City and University Circle and the Waterfront Line? The Red Line was shut down between University Circle and Windermere AND Tower City and the Airport. Then the Green and Blue Lines were completely shut down. Today, the only trains operating are the Blue Line between Van Aken and Shaker Square, the Red Line between University Circle and the Airport, and the Waterfront Line? It feels like you're lucky if you're able to actually take the train anywhere anymore. I know the Green and Blue Lines aren't RTA's fault, but hopefully they'll work quickly both to get the E. 93rd station fixed and the Red Line fully reopened.
