CLEVELAND - the GIFT of Goodtime!!!
Great photographs. I really liked the one of Key Tower with the seagulls flying above, appearing to glow in the dark.

What cities is UrbanOhio missing?
Maybe I missed it, but Mentor Ohio (Lake County Northeast Ohio) is not on the list. It is the home of a president (Garfield's home - part of the national park system), Mentor Headlands state park, the 6th largests city in retail for the state of Ohio, etc. etc.

Cleveland from the 41st
Wow, this is a fantastic group of shots. Can I ask your permission to use your pic of the West Side Market for my Cleveland blog? I would be happy to credit you, however you'd want it noted. I'm working on a short piece on the Market and have a lot of pictures already but that one is really the best shot I've ever seen. I would never use it without your OK because I have no desire to steal someone else's work! Here's my blog if you'd like to check it out first: http://allthingsclevelandohio.blogspot.com/

Need help to ID Cleveland Building
Thank you all for the information. Silly me, when I first did a search I looked under the name "Osborn Block Cleveland" and got all kinds of weird results. I didn't think the building itself was named Osborn. DUH! I actually like the new look of the outside of the building. I always felt that is was such an unusual shape and very distinctive for Cleveland, and I think the color makes it even more prominent. I knew you all could help me. By the way, I think this is such a great forum because it really does celebrate the good things about our cities, and has some great constructive criticisms when needed. Thanks again.

Need help to ID Cleveland Building
I hope someone here with a good knowledge of Cleveland can help me identify a building. I haven't seen the specific area it's in to even be able to tell you if the building is still there or not. (Pathetic I know. Sometimes I don't get around all of downtown Cleveland.) I think it was at the intersection of Huron and Prospect, it seemed to be a thin building right as the corner of the streets met, and then fanned out. I saw a picture from the 1920s that said it was in the "Osborn Block" and it had a sign on the top of it marked "The 4% Lake Shore Bank." I find nothing on the internet on either name. Any clues? Thanks in advance!

Crying Indian
Sorry to be so clueless but where is Fairview? I do recall the commercial. All to well. And now I feel old.

CLEVELAND - All the cool kids are doing it!
Great photos. Love the Peter B Lewis Building, but my favorite is the shot of the mallards. Very "artsy."

Louis Comfort Tiffany Glass Windows in Cleveland
Thanks for all your responses so far. I also heard from a friend of mine who "suspects" the window in the Courthouse (probate court bldg) lobby is a Tiffany but I have not been able to find ANY reference to the window in any site on the Courthouse. The window is apparently dominant in some lawyers commercial but we can't seem to recall WHOSE commercial. So if anyone here has a clue about THAT one too, I would appreciate it.

Louis Comfort Tiffany Glass Windows in Cleveland
I am not sure exactly where to ask this question so I thought I'd start here. I'm looking to find and photograph stained glass windows designed by Tiffany in the Cleveland metro area. The only ones where I can find information are for the windows located in Lake View Cemetery and the Old Stone Church, but I thought there were more in the area. With all the architectual expertise here, I thought someone more familiar with the older buildings in Cleveland may be able to help me. Any clues? Thanks.

Cleveland - Sunday, June 24th!
I really liked the pics but you know what makes me sad? Such a beautiful day...and the city looks deserted. The city need to find more reasons to get people downtown on the weekends. Maybe if parking was more welcoming...
