I live in Columbia Heights and enjoy it alot. It is very diverse, new restaurants, the metro,target, and it is very safe. You are right in the middle of everything. Dont ask me why but it also gives me of a shaker spirit as well, again dont ask me why.

I noticed on wkyc.com its stated the flats development is building 2 buildings for Eaton Corp. There wasn't an official announcement from Eaton was it, or did i just miss it?

Also keep in mind his land cost was practically zero, so all the money he borrowed for material and labor. If I remember correctly the land was bought for a buck

Thank you everyone for the greetings, happy to be aboard! My comments were made because something needs to be done. I guess I'm just frustrated with these government officials and since the elections are going on I hope my voice along with voices from others change can happen. BK WHEN you get the petition started this week please forward so I can sign. I can also get many other expatriates here in Atlanta and at home to sign to make it known we are unsatisfied what going on. I am from Shaker but I understand anything that enhances Cleveland whether its on the east or west side it is a plus for the city.

I hope you guys that live in the area will not accept anything else but the original project.!! It really is amazing what can happen to a neighborhood when there is access to a body of water. Many of these state workers that work in Columbus must remember who their customers are. Write letters, organize, do whatever needs to be done to let ODOT know anything less is unaccapetable.
