They have been talking about this bridge for decades. The only missing piece is financing. the prices have ballooned from 700 million to over 3 billion. If it can be built now for 1.5 billion that's over 1.5 billion saved.

They should have a plan in place right now to take advantage of Obama's infrastructure stimulus package.

30k per unit??? The residents could never pay that back. Why continue to spend money on a losing cause? i been in these units. I didn't find 30k worth of improvements that needs to be done. Just remodel the units that needs it.

I once drove down to Miami in 1997. Nothing important was goign on. I didn't make reservations. All the hotels were booked. I had to drive 45 miles away and get a hotel in West Palm Beach.

There needs to be a regional transportation bill like T-trax in Denver. Only then will we get these projects started in a few years instead of 2 decades away.

I have to say that if the big three go down. Most will lose their homes since im sure the big three will not offer anymore buyout to leave the company. Then again why should i help pay for them with severance pay. I don't get anything from this. I think it time for us all to sacrifice.
