  1. 6000 jobs is alot of jobs to lose. Maybe they could have meet half way with the companies? But i don't like the part where you're only allowed 4 small loans within a short period. Does that include small loans from the banks too?
  2. Companies see the back and forth going on. They try to and know that they will get a good deal with the city that just lost a company to a rival city. Why must they continue to go after LOCAL companies and not some company from South Dakota??? I have no idea. Maybe it the convenience factor.
  3. I think it has to do with payback.
  4. ^ They should have built a bigger stadium then. And your answer about the pirates??

I just heard the high oil prices are affecting the tire industry as well, since they use petroleum to make tires. They said it's will effect safety as more and more people drive on bald tires.
  16. http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/showbiz/2008/05/28/sbt.hogan.tapes.cnn Near the end of that video which is about 9 minutes long. The mom, Linda Hogan says things about the other mom like "I'm suffering more than she is".

It's funny to think that these companies are making 100's of billions in profits, yet if the world crashes because of the high oil prices. The money they made would be worthless. Just my opinion.

So if we cut back consumption and other developing power houses like China and India keeps moving forward. How will that be good for America. Are situation will be even worse. They will get the deals and we won't. We might end up having to work for china for low wages. Anything is possible at this point.

That game last night SUCKED. We used 2 starting pitchers in extra inning and lost. I would have rather taken the loss with an outfielder pitching. Now The rotations is screwed.
  21. I don't know why they won't put in a temporary fix by extending the W 12 st entrance ramp to the 4th street entrance ramp and put ramp meters as they make the 4th lane across the Brent Spence and on the Ohio side extend the US50 exit ramp to the southbound I-71 lanes just before the Brent Spence. This would allow no merging delays for I-75 period.
  22. Well they could double deck it for about a mile or so before the bridge.

IF oil prices doubled the past 12 months I don't see where demand has doubled the past 12 months.
