  1. It kinda goes along with the housing industry. no ones buying new houses so they are not buying new furniture to put in the new houses.
  2. I'm kinda skeptical of the charlotte numbers. They said 110,000 rode the system over the weekend but only 4k used it monday, it was a rainy day. 1. The ride was free for all who rode on the opening weekend. That alone would draw droves of people. Monday was the first day they charged people. 2. Only 4k used the system on monday, even though it was the first day riders had to pay. however shouldn't the system be used more during lousy weather days like it was on monday??? 3. I know the voters approved the system but if low ridership continues will they support addition lines?
  3. Shouldn't UC get a higher bowl than South Florida because we are ranked higher and we beat them them bad at their place.
  4. ^ That's straight out WRONG for a bank to say that it will not give loans/mortgages to low income area's. Isn't that extortion? Come on now. Most of their losses are on failed mortgages to buildings costings 100k and up. I can't see how 2 building can force them to look else where at offering mortgages. I thought it was always the individuals that mattered not the whole neighborhood.

  6. LSU lost to an unranked team today. Strange football season.
  7. Wow this guys loses it or has he?
  8. So it hit the crossbar which is considered the ground? so the Kick was good? Question. In basketball when someone dunks and the ball comes out isn't that not counted as a goal?
  9. This sounds like it's clearly mismanagement. He must have been using the rent money for things other than his obligations. Yes get your Deposits back asap but i'm sure it's likely you won't get it. Just to cover your own ass i would be looking for a new place. No one can legally stay inside while its going through foreclosure. This is to protect the property from damage.
  10. I saw that. It is an insect. Camera can't focus on close objects.

^ Yeah but this airport has been there before most of the current residents moved there. They knew an airport was close to them. They trains going through the area. They can be as loud as jets.

Sure it is. But it would cost ALOT of money. Mostly for depressing Beechmont avenue and having a runway or two go above it.

I think the next step for the city is to bring more F500 companies to the CBD. The city needs more revenue. Expand Lunken to bring in a low cost carries like SW airlines.
  18. ^ You do have Animations. ;) I thinks that's the name. I have not been there for MANY years. maybe 6 years. Anyone know what happend to the Kennedy connector?
  19. It really sounds as though you think only certain area's in the city deserves development and investments and to hell with the rest.

There's a confluence of things happening that's causing the price of wings to go up-- Increased transport costs due to higher oil prices as referenced earlier, the increase in the cost of corn-based animal feed due to the ethanol boom, and in Ohio the increase in the minimum wage. You know i wish that was true but i know LOTS of Chinese restaurants that has never went up or went up very little. And they use a mixture of all the poultries and beef products.
  21. Sedamsville and Sayler park are pretty white neighborhoods i don't see much investment there. I take offense to what you said about what matters in Cincinnati.
  22. What do you mean by that?
  23. unusualfire replied to a post in a topic in General Transportation
OH i forgot to add that BW3 wings cost almost $8 for 12 wings now, when it was just about $4.50 just a few short years ago.
  24. ^ How many times did the Hornets move wiith in a short period??
  25. unusualfire replied to a post in a topic in General Transportation
Fuel is effecting everything, but i think alot of places use it as an excuse to raise prices on ALL products. Eg. A dozen donuts at Busken Bakery cost $4.50 back in 2004 now it costs $8.75. Ridiculous!!!! A gallon of OJ costs $4.55 at biggs. Ridiculous!!!! What i see is that people will not put up buying these products at these high prices. So what will happening is more and more companies will start to lay people off. I think these companies want to get as much profit as they can before the bottom falls out.
