Come on C-dawg. I'm sure you would get a ego boost if Toledo is a part of Detroit's CSA. Then i can see you braging about how much larger Toledo CSA is comparied to Cincy's CSA. That's just been your trend.

Does Cincinnati need a commercial retail strip?
Wait this is about jobs too. I didn't say all retail I'm taking about Colfax ave if you know what i'm talking about. It has mid to highrise office buildings through the entire stretch. 20+ miles.

Yeah i'm talking about that whole corridor. Pebbles Corner, that works. I mean it's blighted right?

Does Cincinnati need a commercial retail strip?
When you say wealth. That's the key. This was revitalize that part of town and draw in new money. Maybe even put a light rail in the middle. Like i said the property values through that part of town can be bought for very cheap. We are talking about mostly residental homes that go for 40k or less each. I can see going through Norwood a problem though, but im sure they would love the light rail.

Does Cincinnati need a commercial retail strip?
There is not much retail in the city at all. Does the town need a retail/Commercial strip like, say Colfax Ave in Denver? Maybe Montgomery road could be it? Al lthe realestate along it up until Pleasant Ridge can be bought pretty cheap. Widen it and rezone it and the city will be flowing with money.

Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Projects & News
They need one on Rt 50 right as it merges with I-75 southbound. It would help smooth traffic flow there.

I would take an 89 loss season. I don't think they will lose 100 games, which i hoped would never happen.

Toledo: Random Development and News
I have seen some new signs this weekend on the interstates. The signs i noticed said shoulders for use for authorized buses only. Is this 24 hours a day or only during rush hours? I know they have them in Boston but they can't use them unless the speed is under 35 mph. Another sign i saw while stuck on I-75 was about legal ways to change lanes in front of trucks. It gives a graphical illustration.

Cincinnati: Brent Spence Bridge
OMG it's still backed up. Here is a story Due to a planned construction project taking place on I-71/I-75 at the Brent Spence Bridge, Cincinnati police are advising drivers to choose alternate routes when heading to Northern Kentucky this weekend. Traffic backups are lasting anywhere from 90 minutes to two hours, with one out-of-town driver reporting that he waited through three hours of stand-still traffic before getting past the construction zone on Saturday. Crews are removing crumbling concrete from the entrance ramps from both interstates on the Brent Spence Bridge, which is only effecting southbound traffic. On average, traffic is backed up all the way to Mitchell Avenue on I-75 and close to Gilbert Avenue on I-71. On The WCPO.com Live Channel: Take a live look at the ARTIMIS cameras in the area of the traffic backup If you have to cross from Ohio into Kentucky, your best bet is to take I-471 to I-275, then back to I-71. Also, be sure to leave extra time if traveling to the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport, as alternate routes will now be likely to see more traffic due to the construction zone. The work is to continue until 5 a.m. Monday.

Cincinnati: Brent Spence Bridge
Todays traffic on the bridge is RIDICULOUS. If this is a sign on what construction will be like for the 5-10 years to build the bridge I would just take I-471 and cut across through newport and covington and get back on. It took over an hour to cross the bridge today. They have 2 lanes closed.

Just how good is Shriners Hospitals for Children?
There was a plan crash in Orlando today. One of the victims is a 10 year old boy with 80-90% 3rd degree burns. He was flawn all the way to Shriners Hospitals for Children in Cincinnati. Why are there not more of these hospitals around? There is one in Tampa but why was the kid not flown there?
