The Great Cincinnati Conservatism Thread
I must say this. They can't get Broadway commons done or Fountain square west done and now The Banks. The city needs more progressive business people.

Cincinnati: Interstate 75
I-75 is not even in the city limits of Wyoming. And I-75 went through after Wyoming was formed, so they really have no say.

Dayton: "Downtown's just fine."
I would have thought more than that. How many people work in Downtown Dayton?

Does any city in Ohio have a hospital Downtown?
^Well to draw more people downtown to live. People will like to have a fast way to get to the hospital. Maybe it could draw older peopel to live dowtown also. They can easily make their appointments at the hospital since it would be so close.

Does any city in Ohio have a hospital Downtown?
I've always wanted to know that. I think having a hospital that close would bring morepeople downtown along with a great school or college too.

CVG: Delta and Comair news
ATLANTA - More than two dozen Delta Air Lines Inc. pilots brought the fight over their contract to their employer's doorstep Friday as they held signs berating management for asking pilots to take more pay and benefit cuts while the company tries to get court approval for a hefty severance plan for officers. The picketing at the passenger drop-off area outside Delta's terminal at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the company's main hub, came after the pilots union and airline Thursday failed to agree on another round of concessions. If negotiators for the pilots union and company can't reach a comprehensive deal on new concessions by March 1, a three-person panel would decide the company's request to reject the pilot contract so Delta can impose more than $300 million in cuts unilaterally. The pilots union has said it will strike if its contract is thrown out. The company has warned a strike would put the nation's third-largest carrier out of business. Other States: Passenger Rail News
Yeah the Nashville thing is amazing. 145 miles of commuter rail???? I don't even hear cities 4 times the size of Nashville proposing such a huge system. Are they expecting to upgrade these rails to light rail in the distant future? Where the hell are they getting all this money?

Cincinnati: Downtown: Queen City Square
^Yes it is. The FAA said the millenium tower was too tall. I think that was 1200 feet.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Queen City Square
I think if none of the above projects was never done. We would be just like Dayton. Bleeding jobs, because nothing ever gets done around here. The vote came too soon, after the stadiums was built, that's why it failed. If it was done today I think it would pass. Cincinnati has the lowest vacancy rate in industral space in the country. We we can some how build industrial skyscraper's we would be set..lol

Louisville, KY: Museum Plaza
Does anyone think if this is built, other cities would follow"we can do better"? In the old days skyscrapers was for showing off. Bigger is better. I think alot of our cities have gotten away from that. Now it's either put up or shut up. If this is built. I can see other peer cities doing the same, just not that design though..lol

Louisville, KY: Museum Plaza
This sounds like it's going to go the way of the millenium tower in newport. It had all the investers lined up. But they somehow couldn't get it done. If this were closer to the CBD it wouldn't look as bad. But being where it's going it be located, it looks simply out of place.
